Unprofessional, Misleading, and Dishonest…read more As a first-time bride(like most bride's), I relied on Kristin's professionalism to guide me through the process -- but instead, I was misled and overcharged. She told me she could "make it work" if I brought in my own hair stylist, and even accepted an introduction to that person. At no point did she make it clear that her pricing wouldn't change -- even if she wasn't providing hair services. By the time she revealed that I'd still be charged full price, it was too late to adjust. If you're a wedding vendor working with someone new to this (like most brides), you have a responsibility to be transparent and fill in the gaps -- not take advantage of them. I ended up feeling cornered and exploited. I would strongly caution anyone against working with Kristin unless you're prepared to overpay for services you don't receive.

Carrie is a wonderful, gentle nail technician and a great conversationalist. She did a "dry" manicure that exfoliated the old cuticle on my nails without pushing or cutting into the live cuticle, which seemed like a healthier choice than the old-style push and cut method. She's an artist with the polish, too. I hesitate to give such a glowing review because there are too few people in the area giving decent salon-caliber manis and pedis, and she is already in high demand!
