However, walking into this salon, you immediately feel relaxed - it's clean, bright, and so welcoming. There are huge windows and fun music is playing. Just love it. Tessa was my stylist, and she was truly incredible. Her blonding techniques are INSANE. I am always so nervous and embarrassed by my thin hair, but she made me feel totally relaxed as she did my cut and color. She is super talented and I highly recommend her. The little things here are what make it stand out - a TV is on the wall by the shampooing station, there are tampons in the bathroom, and there's an ADORABLE dog, Ziggy, walking around as the salon mascot! The owner, Maggie, thanked me directly when I was checking out, which was really thoughtful. She also showed me some extension options in case I ever decide to go that route. They were open when it was allowed and were following the protocols. They had an opening with Kayla, who I knew so thought, let's do it. Due to COVId street parking is a bit easier, but do plan ahead for parking. Once we return to a new normal. They ask you the standards questions and you enter with a mask and you wash your hands. Kayla was great. We discussed options and she got to work. We had good conversation and in no time the cut was over. I like that she gave me a cool textured look on top and it's been always to style since I left. The space is great. Spacious and decorated with old signs, and knick knacks. Pretty cool. You pay over the phone so there is limited touch. It's pretty cool. My usual stylist moved, so needed to find someone new. Sad to change but happy with what I found. Went in for a clean up and after talking with Sierra she made a few suggestions and being open to possibilities, I said "let's do it!" Immediately, I knew I was going to like it. They do walk ins and I don't know if they accept reservations and they also offer punch card to their customers that if you reach a certain number of hair cut the next one is free.
