When I got there the woman said oh I don't have time to do a full highlight and I won't have time to style you. I have been going to Hair Creations for over five years and I highly recommend Jillian. I like having a stylist who has great ideas for my hair, but is mindful of my comfort level (I'm conservative with my hair color and cuts). My hair is fine and short, but she manages to find a way to give me volume. Went here twice. On my first visit I got the works and the visit was ok. Not much talking, which was good. But she also didn't offer any suggestions when I asked. Which is kinda frustrating. I went in a second time for just a root touch-up and bangs trimmed, the appointment went well, but I was astonished at all the nickle&dime-ing done on the bill. No thank you! $12 to trim my bangs? Also, I was never asked about all these supposed extras that I am use to getting at other places for free, but now I was getting charged to sit under a heater for 10 minutes? read more

I came here the first time on the recommendation of a friend. I have long hair and asked for a specific cut. Didn't happen. I thought maybe the stylist was just bad at long hair cuts. So I gave it a second chance. They cut my hair way shorter than I asked and cut my long bangs super short. So I gave up. Vowed I would never come here again because they just don't listen. A year later my husband was getting his hair cut and encouraged me to try one more time. Third times a charm, right? Wrong. Not only did the stylist talk to herself in the mirror, never looked at me, but also didn't listen. I asked for long layers and frame my face. She cut my hair and asked if she could curl it for fun. Why not. But the next morning when I washed my hair it was straight across the back and again too short, so I can't have it fixed until it grows out. So I'm all done. Never going back here. It's ok if you're a man or a woman with really short hair, but that seems to be the only thing they can do. read more

A+ all around. Every member of the staff if friendly and truly enjoy their job. They make sure you always have coffee or water. Jordan is my stylists and she is wonderful, she does exactly what I want and always makes sure she truly understands what my vision is. As promised I went back for more services. Kathy added more purple, conditioned my hair with Pureology products, wonderful! Jordan did my pedicure, wonderful ( and by the way be prepared to laugh a ton while being with her), Lisa did my waxing (face and bikini), wonderful, and Samantha did my manicure, wonderful. Can you tell I am really pleased by my experiences. I always fear writing great reviews because then the business gets so busy it's hard to get in for appts. However, in this case I'm taking the risk because the salon and ladies deserve the compliments. P.S. As I mentioned earlier I travel; Kathy has been great at helping make sure I have directions for the products and procedure used on my hair for my temp salons around country. I came in to get a cut and the employee didn't seem to listen to what I wanted, rather, she told me what she thought would look best. I repeatedly told her what I wanted and eventually caved in because she insisted it would look better another way. She cut my hair, and it didn't look how I wanted and I walked out disappointed. read more
