Wendy guided me in (door between "Hatch" and "Nest," go up one floor and turn left) and I found a very small but cozy space that was sparkling clean, tastefully decorated, and calming. Wendy herself was an absolute love. She made sure to check in with me frequently during my two procedures, she was polite, friendly, and just the right kind of chatty. Her technique was gentle and, while not painless because somebody is putting hot wax on your flesh and tearing out hair at the root, minimally painful. I have only had a couple of previous waxing experiences, but this was by far the best. I am in town on vacation so sadly I will not be a regular client, but if I did, I would be.

She is the owner and refused to give me my money back. She said I had to pay for the product. M face should be back to normal in a couple months I hope. I will have to live like this until then. The lady who was in there (I think the owner) took six minutes until she finally came to the table to start taking my gel polish off. She asked if it was acrylic or just gel and I had told her that it was gel polish. She began to file my nails with the electric file which is completely normal but instead of putting acetone on, all she did was electrically file all 10 of my nails. Saying that "builder gel" doesn't come off with just acetone. All she did was electrically file the gel polish off (to the point where my nails were hot and now my nails are thin and brittle) and she charged me $20 DOLLARS. I said that it was a bit absurd to charge $20 when all she did was file my polish off and she said because it was "builder gel" that is cost that much but she'd take $5 off. My nails look destroyed and they feel so brittle!
