He used to be in an old re-purposed house, the while cool, was broken into a lot. This is a lot easier to get in and out of and has way less riffraff! Bikes ranging from $300 all the way up to many thousands are available and the guys here already to tell you about why any range is good. My wife and I came in looking for some hybrid bikes and they were super friendly and helpful, showing us multiple options and never once trying to upsell. It wasreally nice to hear about the different options rather than why something more expensive would technically be better. If that more accessories than you can shake a stick at and seem adept at tuning up your weekend warrior mobile! Prices are competitive and they've got options in different ranges that will fit beginners up to professionals. When I started my first job back in the mid 1970s, my first paycheck went towards the purchase of a bike. I still have that bike, but have found that my older body no longer finds the style of handlebars comfortable. Knowing that my bike was still sturdy, we went to Revolution Cycles to see if they could rebuild my bike with more upright handlebars so I could sit up while riding. They responded positively, and had the task done in very little time for both me and my husband. He chose to do the same thing. The cost was much less than getting a new set of bikes, and considering the fact that we don't ride all that often, this was a perfect option. We didn't really need new bikes at this phase of life. Ok, let's talk! Today friend and I went to Revolution and had 5 star treatment after going to the Monkey place. Monkey loss Revolution gains! Our bikes are coming in August! I am not usually one to write yelp reviews, but was concerned when I read the only ones available for Revolution cycle. Revolution cycle is a really good shop. Their retail prices from what I have bought seems to be about average in prices (tires/tubes/helmet) for the area, but where they really shine is their repair work. They do really top notch repair work, and have put many hours into the handful of bikes my wife and I own. The work is good, and the repair prices are very, Very reasonable. Additionally, I am generally hesitant in handing my bikes to young guys to work on, but Axle has done great job of rebuilding brakes and wheels (generally a task that shows ability and experience in my book). I bring my bike down from Ellensburg to have it worked on by Revolution. That should say enough in itself. read more

I have had nothing but positive experiences doing business with revolution cycles . Anything from window shopping and, asking typical new cyclist questions. To service work and today the purchase of a new bike . I always felt like I had the attention of the staff. Small talk and, questions answered . Even when it was obvious that I was price shopping . I had rims trued and, the even straightened my brake disk , saving me money . The price of the service was fantastic , far less than I expected . Those combined experiences led me there today . I needed to replace a bike that was stolen . The owner took time to help me understand the differences in the bikes I was considering for purchase . I narrowed my choices to two bikes . The tech placed both bikes on the repair stand and checked them thoroughly before I test rode them . After testing and, deciding on a bike the tech said "you know what I'll throw in a new set of heavy duty tubes and sealant " way. Cool ! Bear in mind my outward appearance didn't scream "hey I can even afford this bike " . I received top notch service regardless . I'll be back for sure ! Nice guys who are very knowledgeable and provides great service. They have really nice bikes,unfortunately, there was a particular bike I preferred (Specialized) that was sold across town in another shop. I opted to buy that instead of the Jamis bike they were selling. I drove across town and was just about to purchase the Specialized bike from the other shop when the lady's arrogant attitude got to me to the point that I turned around went straight to Revolution and picked up the Jamis instead. I'm glad I did. This all happened a while back but, I still love this bike and I'm glad to give these guys my business. I'll never step foot in that other store. read more

A friend of mine knows these guys and I really wanted to give them a chance but after a few bad experiences I won't be doing that again. Full disclosure here, I have 18 years experience in independent cycle shops from sales associate to certified master mechanic to shop manager. I've never felt so bilked on prices for small parts as I have here. We're talking triple cost on simple things like tubes, cables, and cable housing. I'd hate to see what repair prices are like but luckily I can take care of service myself. It really pains me to say this because it's one of the worst stereotypes in this business about indie shops but there was definitely some elitist attitude going on. With years of experience from being around certain types of cycling folks I could smell the stink of it. I know that they think they are better than the other options in town and based on sheer technical knowledge they are probably right but you can't stick it in the face of your customers or be dismissive. I'm certain that they are exceptionally pleasant to their hardcore regulars but you're not going to be around very long unless you treat everyone who walks through that door the same way. Especially in this industry. Hundreds of indie shops open and close their doors every year. It's a brutally tough business to stay solvent in. You can't afford to have an attitude and for the love of Pete get come back down to reality on your parts markup. I'd love to support local but...eh. I think I'll be ordering multiples of regular maintenance parts online or from one of my old shops back east so I have them on hand rather than have that experience again. For the record this is based off of three separate visits in the past four years. I gave them more of a chance than I would most businesses. read more

Purchased a "Adventurer" Mountain bike and helmet. Am 6', 250lbs. Out of shape!, need to get back in shape. "Jeff" Mgr., Owner helped me with the purchase, advised and installed certain accessories to make my ride more comfortable and efficient. Had a few problems, due to my weight ..load limit. They went the extra mile and made the bike practical, economical, efficient, to my standards and safety. Go to Revolution Cycles for quality of service, repair and parts. Smug, sloppy, a bit over priced and unless you are a Tour De France caliber cyclist don't even bother asking amateur idiotic questions - just shut up, enter, buy and leave but don't forget to cow tow before exiting. Also, if you spend money there having something installed or repaired expect to have the bare minimum done with an aurora of why don't you do it yourself and I just want to close and go home attitude. You all lost $600 in sales; was looking to buy a new Road Cycle and a high end helmet but after my last experience, there is no way I would ever spend a penny there again. Maybe, I would during a blowout going out of business sale (still would have to think it over though). I had been there a couple times before and always left feeling belittled and passed off in a passive aggressive way by the owner. The benefit of the doubt is why I went back a couple times more. Now the last thing I want to do is spend money and feel belittled, with dismissive answers and a sloppy install on a purchased part (which I of course paid for). They could not even do the most simple thing like filling one of the tires that was considerably/noticeably lower than the other. I even squeezed it and pressed on it in front of the owner and he did the same after seeing me do it but still ignored it?!?!?!?! That said it all to me beyond the attitude(s) and was the last straw. You the older guy and the young minion should go sulk on your own time without charging people money on their time to subsidize your feel sorry for yourselves and make money while we do it; all because your pro cycling career(s) never took off the way you wanted it to.
