We parked at the Woodstock-Dike Trailhead & the views of the reservoir & surrounding hills near there are beautiful, as is the fresh smelling air & green, green trees. Most areas you pass are pretty, such as wooded hillsides that slope down towards the reservoir, sounds of birds, lots & lots of forested spaces, a small residential area with KEEP OUT signs & small streams of water running alongside the trail. Tons of chipmunks crossing the trail. We saw lots of walkers, a few, fellow bikers & stopped briefly at a few of the large signs that tell of the history of how the reservoir was created as well as the rail trail. We misunderstood & thought this was a loop trail going all the way around the reservoir, but we were wrong. It only skirts the northern side of it, so we rode 8 of the 11 miles, turned around & ultimately rode 16 miles total. Good, bumpy, gravelly ride. Good signage, good parking, benches one the side of the trail as well as distance markers.

This is a really nice little shop. I wasn't sure what I wanted when I came in and the woman who works there (I think she's the owner) was really intuitive and understanding. She asked me all kinds of questions about where and when I wanted to ride and then showed me some examples of stuff she thought I would like. She got a couple different bikes out for me to compare, got them all adjusted and I took them for test rides. I ultimately decided on a TREK 7.2 FX in Red. At first I thought I wanted a shock, but then decided that without was better. They didn't have the color I wanted in stock, but she ordered it for me and got it the next day! I picked out a bunch of accessories too and when I came to pick up my new bike, all the stuff was on it. The mechanic (other owner?) set me up and made sure the fit and everything was great. I've been riding it about 3 days now and I'm really happy. Would definitely recommend this place to someone who likes friendly, attentive service. read more

My e-bike broke down but it wasn't an easy fix. After several orders for parts and more parts, diagnostic test after diagnostic test, and dealing with the slow response of the large brand/maker, my bike was finally good to go. If it weren't for Steve's persistence and diligence throughout the process, I would not have a working bike right now. Went directly from the trailhead to Overlook Mountain Bikes. The store was buzzing with customers but I was quickly welcomed and taken care of. The guys at Overlook were promptly able to diagnose and fix my issues. I fully expected to have to leave the bike and come back a week or two later, but I was able to take my new bike for its inaugural ride only a few hours later than scheduled. Although this shop is an hour away from where I live, I will be back for any bike related needs.

Bicycle Rack put on a clinic for on-the-spot effective repairs. A seat on an older bike was properly repaired and adjusted for the rider, a crooked pedal fixed and adjusted on the second bike. Finally, a flat on tubeless gravel bike was resolved with a superior and less expensive product. Cost was on point. Exemplary with a vengeance.

They sent someone to pick one up and had me on the road that afternoon.
