I'm disappointed. I've been to this repair shop multiple times for both my car and my mother's car…read more I thought they did pretty good work, compared to other places I'd been in the past. However, recently my mothers car hadn't been locking. Mike previously thought it could be the lock actuator causing the issue but we hadn't taken it in to get checked so he wasn't 100% sure. He replaced the lock actuator in one of the doors but this ultimately did not fix the issue. When we took the car back and inquired about the issue not being fixed, he claimed that the behavior the car was displaying was standard, based on manufacturer design. However, the car never displayed these issues in functionality prior to the actuator being broken and subsequently fixed. Long story, short, they claimed to fix the issue without fully fixing it. I gave 3 stars instead of one because I generally haven't had issues in the past and have been pretty satisfied with the work this shop provides. I'd probably still take my car back, simply because it's hard to find good auto service.

The shop offers 12-month warranty on parts & labor which is printed on their receipts; unlike some other shops that will stamp the receipt and even then, only if you ask. Another shop over-tightened my wheels rendering tire rotation next to impossible. I then brought my Bug to the MasterWorks, and they were able to loosen the nuts and do the rotation. The price was very reasonable, and I was offered a loaner car while my Bug was sitting in the garage overnight. From now on, this is the only shop I am bringing my car to ever. I highly recommend MasterWorks Automotive for all your car repair needs. 5 stars!

Unfortunately, I'm still experiencing the same issue I came in with. Have decided for myself they're not worth the cost. Just average service all around - poor pictures of the problem, diagnostic fee was not removed on final bill plus extra shop charges, poor communication about how long the job would take (just tell me straight). They do work hard though, got the job done inside of two days. I guess when you're as busy as they are, you don't have to satisfy everybody. If you going for a E-Check, just DIY at one of the self-service kiosks, super easy.

My car wasn't showing any signs while driving and my family's mechanic of over 20 years also found it a little sketchy. When signs of brake issues did arise 6 months later, I took it to Firestone on Prospect Ave who fixed it for a quarter of the price and I've had no issues since. Maybe Terry's was being truthful about the issues, but if so, it felt way overcharged and pressured to get it fixed sooner than necessary.

It's rare to find a repair shop that makes you feel taken care of rather than taken advantage of, and Mondo Auto truly delivered that experience.
