The own then started to do my twist and towards the end had someone do the front which was done sooo big and long. She cut the ends of the twist so they didn't look kinky. It was heavy bulky. I had to go back and the owner said she sorry the girl messed my hair up she wish she had my number to call me to tell me to come so she could fix it. When I questioned her why she let her do that to my hair and me leave like that, she stated she sorry and she tried to tell the girl it didn't look good. Even with the owner fixing the braids i didn't like them. The ends of the hair was like locks, she curled them 1/2 way up the braid. Just a mess!!!

I don't let everyone do my brows, and have reluctantly floated around to different nail salons in…read morethe city trying to achieve a certain look. Unfortunately, most places are prone to over-plucking my thick brows, when most of the time I just want a subtle shaping or clean-up. Unfortunately, my requests most often get lost in translation. So, I was happy to see this place pop up in my Groupon search, and happier when I realized they are black-owned. I arrived on time, and waited in the car to be texted on when to come in. I appreciated them doing this for safety during this pandemic. Masks were worn and my temperature was also taken. I waited a bit long to be texted, but based on hearing her tell another customer they were running behind, I let that go. Everyone is adjusting to this new normal. Cortney did my brows and I think they came out looking great. I didn't even have to tell her to just do a soft arch and not overpluck them. I think she did one of the best jobs I have seen in years on these brows. I really can't overstate enough how frustrating it is how some of these salons just immediately go to taking off too much of my brow. Cortney was really pleasant, and I didn't have an issue getting an appt right away (no one answered the phone originally - so maybe they were overwhelmed). I think I'll return. Oh yeah, they also have a little parking lot.

Younger or new stylist require a little more guidance! Although this salon is listed as natural…read morehair care it may be mainly because of the products not because of knowledge related to hair texture or styles. I went in for a consultation two weeks before my actual appointment the stylist appeared knowledgeable but my results were less than desirable. I can say well after my appointment the dye job was perfect it has lasted longer than most applications. However, I showed a photo of the style I desired and I understand upfront my hair texture may not be the same as the person in the photo. But when you're chopping off your hair the cut should be close to the photo. It was a 'good' cut but, the thinning area on my sides were not considered when 'fading'. During my initial consultation the stylist said washing my hair will help to see the curl pattern it will help determine if I need twist or product for the desired look. None of that happened! My experience is really hard to explain I didn't get what I asked for but I was able to come home and work it out for myself. In the end I got a decent haircut and a good dye job so it wasn't a total bust. Would I go back or suggest this salon of 'natural hair care'? NOPE!

Do not purchase the Black Friday package! It is a scam! Now I will say I have nothing bad to say…read moreabout the clinicians doing the waxing, they all have been great and quick with their services. But the run around with customer service or the location manager at Cherry hill has not been pleasant. The package expires in one year even though it doesn't say so on the promotion. I called prior to buying this package and asked and was told no expiration date. I wouldn't have bought if it's there's a one year expiration because I don't personally need to wax monthly. Always check your account that you're being charged correctly. I bought the bundle and see that I'm charged $40 per visit and management is telling me I'm actually being charged $69 per visit which isn't matching what I see so that's suspicious. Which means I bought the bundle but didn't actually save any money. Just don't buy the promotions as it's a scam at least in my case.

Have never gotten it done before but when i got home i knew they weren't good what so ever. She left not only glue on my eyelids so they felt sticky, the dye was on my eyelids and she missed a few of my lashes so they were left straight. and when i went to sleep that night i woke up and my brows were completely messed up and looked terrible. the only thing i cared about tho was my lashes. so i called and asked her about coming back in to fix her mistake on my lashes. not only did i have to pay full price AGAIN for her mistake but they made me pay the same amount even tho i didn't get the bundle this time. i just wanted my brows tinted which was supposed to be 130 altogether. they made me pay the 170 AGAIN!! they are SCAMMERS!! went to dispute both transactions and won't be going back. don't waste your time.

I made an appointment, confirmed via text, and drove to the office. During the pandemic, you're required to call when you arrive and they'll let you into their space. I called, they said they had tried to reach me to see if I wanted an online appointment instead and if I'd rather do that. Was very confused because I was literally asking them to open the door for me, standing AT THEIR OFFICE. They let me in, but it felt like they didn't want me there. When I got there I waited like 3 minutes (I think I was the only customer) for the doc to see me. My consultation was on laser hair removal but dr.anu quickly let me know I was not a good candidate (apparently you have to be super hairy with thick dark hair). It was literally a 5 minute interaction and then I left. On one hand I nearly felt it a waste to have come to the office, but on the other, I appreciated that she was honest and didn't try to sell me on anything. I'd say based on the consultation alone, I didn't really find this place comforting or friendly at all. However, it might have just been because of the pandemic? They offer a lot of spa services and definitely were the most responsive out of the multiple med spas I called. Their prices seem fair and they also had the best reviews, so I'd still recommend giving this place a try.
