The nicest people ever and most welcoming atmosphere! We had a very upsetting experience at another salon and Reveal was so nice and got my mom in for a last minute appointment early the next morning. Brianna the stylist was so so nice and welcoming! My mom is older and has just slowed down overall quite a lot. She had a fall the week prior and injured her hand and arm (in addition to a bad head bump and bruised ribs). She looked so happy and refreshed after her wonderful cut with Brianna. She said "I feel so much lighter" The woman at the front desk who booked us and greeted us when we came in was also just the most warm and welcoming person! A huge thank you to Reveal Salon!! Love this salon! First of all, calling to make an appointment the staff member answering the phone was knowledgeable & courteous. I asked for someone who was good with short hair and made an appointment with the person recommended. I ended up seeing Monica, and she was amazing! Monica was nice and had mentioned a new technique for cutting hair she had just learned over the weekend that she had been practicing and was excited to try. Well let me tell you the results were great, lots of natural looking body in my hair! It's great to see someone who is truly passionate about what they do because it translates to excellence in that field and this definitely described Monica. I will be back and I'd recommend Monica highly to anyone. read more

A shoutout to Reveal Hair Salon! I know that many people are not going to hair salons during COVID. However this salon is very hygienic and excellent at social distancing. I gave in and went for a hair appointment. Unfortunately I was not pleased with the results. I called them and they wanted me to be happy with their salon. I was given the VIP treatment, no charge. Breanna is a great front desk representative. When I expressed feeling uncomfortable she said "we invited you" and she also gives a great shampoo and scalp massage. Jay the owner addressed my concerns and like an artist corrected my unfortunate color issues. He is an excellent colorist and a very smart owner. Bottom line was that I was happy. If you are looking for a safe salon with great results, Reveal Hair Salon in Catalina Foothills has my vote. read more

Thanks to a Groupon, I got a great deal Reveal. $25 for a haircut with blowout , deep conditioning treatment, and $10 towards any purchase (may it be products or a hair service, given as a gift card at the salon if you want to use it in a second visit). I was greatly satisfied with my haircut. I came out with EXACTLY what I wanted: shorter than the length I came in with but with some added layers. The conditioning treatment was awesome too. I've had highlights for the past couple of months which has damaged my poor hair sooo much. The conditioning treatment made my hair so much softer and feels significantly healthier. And a nice bonus: a killer scalp massage :) I look forward to coming back and using the $10 gift card for more hair services. read more

I went to this salon after buying a groupon like Marina M. ... It was great! I believe my stylist was Kealy, and she did a fantastic job. She kept the length I wanted, made my bangs look perfect and best of all showed me an amazing new way to blow dry and curl my hair. I slept on my hair and it still looks fantastic today thanks to her skills and the gel product she used, which I was able to buy with the gift certificate from the groupon. I, too, went here after using a groupon. I wish I could say that I had as good of an experience as the two other reviewers, but I didn't. I also wish I could remember the name of my stylist. Oh well, perhaps it's for the best that I don't out her on here. Maybe it just wasn't her day. At any rate, my stylist botched my hair. I said I wanted a trim, she chopped off at least 2.5 inches. I said I wanted soft layers, she made my hair fall in awkward, shortened chunks. She cut my bangs while they were wet and made them too short. It was probably the most difficult haircut I've had in a number of years. Thankfully, it's been a couple of months, so it's finally growing out enough to look decent again, but I will never, ever risk my hair at this salon again. I do hope their other stylists are better. There was a bit of good, though - it's nicely set up and they give good head massages and scalp treatments. But that's where it ends for me. read more

My stylist got sick and gave me a 2 hour notice. I have a fundraiser tonight and am leaving to go out of town for 10 days tomorrow. I needed color badly!! Yikes!! I called Reveal, and Brianna was able to get me in within the hour. Deb did a fabulous job on my hair, and now I am ready for all my events. Thanks so much for great service and a great hair do. I am always really selective in picking a place to get my haircut. This place is right on for price, cleanliness, and quality! I love the feeling of getting a quality haircut. I have been to a couple of people here, but my favorite is Kealy. You haven't experienced a magical scalp massage till you have been to her! Always easy to get an appt because I don't think a lot of people know about this salon. That can either be a good thing or a bad thing. Only thing I am missing is a fun, friendly environment. But I am getting a good haircut so I am happy!! read more

Melissa is my stylist and she keeps up to date on the latest trends and technics. She really listens to what I want and has great advice. Had my hair done by Judie here, she was amazing my hair looks amazing and Im so happy I got it done. I did the thermal reconditioning treatment ( Japanese hair straightening) and its so great. Judie is very well educated about the process and has lots of years of experience. Very highly recommend getting your hair done here. I'm new in town and went to Reveal on friends' recommendations. Looking for a good hair experience in a new city is always a worry. It was an outstanding experience. Pleasant surroundings and friendly staff. I would recommend Christina Molera, the stylist who, (after a shampoo and a great and unexpected head massage), managed to take a really overgrown, shaggy head of hair and turn it back into a shape that fits my head and looks great and has grown out well. read more
