Over the phone, Ryan stated that the total amount owed was $300 more than the price that was given when my husband went to the office and spoke to the rep. My husband explained that that was not the price quoted and actually displayed on the computer by their rep at the office. Management said they would look into it and call us back but never did. Deceitful billing practices at this location. They give you one price in person and then increase it after the car is returned. I would never rent from an Enterprise local office again!

To be fair, the staff explained the reason immediately when I asked, the AC is now working, and they added dye/checks for potential leaks. Mechanically, everything seems fine so far. I just think the communication and pricing transparency could be improved so customers know what to expect before authorizing service. Everything seemed fine, so we made an appointment for the next day so I could see the car as well. After my test drive, I was ready to make a deal. And that's when everything fell apart. Once we sat down to finalize the numbers, the dealership began adding one questionable fee after another: a $2,000 "mechanic inspection" fee, $1,750 "commission" fee (which we were told was a discount from their normal $2950 fee), plus the standard taxes and DMV costs. Then came the biggest red flag: we were told that if we wanted to pay cash, we'd have to pay an additional 5% fee to make up for the "kickback" they lose from their financing company. The only way to avoid that fee was to finance the car through their preferred lender, with a limited down payment, and an obligation to carry the loan for at least 3 months. In 20 years of buying cars, I've never been told that I must finance a vehicle or that I can't choose my own down payment amount. It's misleading and feels like a scam. To make matters worse, 24 hours later the dealer actually called to tell us that the car had been "sold." The same car that had been sitting on their lot for over 90 days suddenly vanished right after we questioned their fees. It all feels incredibly slimy and shady. Bottom line: the price you see online is not the price you'll pay. Expect around $8,000 in added fees, pressure to finance, and questionable sales tactics. Buyer BEWARE.

My wife was at work, so I couldn't ask her to remind me. I called MetroPark on April 3rd for a pickup on April 4th and spoke to 'Sid'. He seemed like a nice enough guy although he couldn't seem to either hear or understand what I was saying part of the time. He told me what the price would be for the pickup at our home and for the return trip, I gave him my credit card info and email and he said I would be receiving an email or text confirmation. By the morning of April 4th, I had still not received any confirmation but what I did receive was an almost $400 charge on my card from them. The agreed upon price I got on the phone was $120 each way. I called the main number back at 8:10 am on April 4th, got a different person, told them I had not received confirmation and asked why I was charged so much extra. He was rude and condescending, said it was sent and that I should check my spam email (which I had already done prior to calling), told me the extra fees were for gratuities and other expenses and added that I shouldn't book them if I can't afford it. Keep in mind that this comment comes from a semi-literate working at a taxi stand. Needless to say, I emphatically told him to cancel the service and hoped this would be the end of it. I then called my bank to give them the heads up about these charges as I would be out of the country for over a week. They explained that the charges were still pending, but I at least wanted it to be on record that I contacted them immediately. As I write this on April 13th, the charges were still on my card, so I filed a fraud complaint with my bank and the charges will be taken off. Also, we went with the car service we had previously used and they were honest, charged less, had a clean, new car and were top notch. Even our driver was a pleasure. To summarize, it is much easier to be an honest company who treats their clients with respect and good service than a vampiric parasite who tries to cheat honest people out of their money. You are only hurting yourselves in the long run through loss of business and reputation. MetroPark, are a few extra ill-gotten bucks really worth it?
