The Chicago skyline, the colors, the little graphics for meal choices, etc. It's all exactly the invitation we wanted. I love sending these out and I can't wait to see the responses we get! However, I have to be honest, the customer service left me feeling disappointed. Weeks would go by with no response, the proof did not come when expected/promised and I finally had to send an e-mail detailing how upset I was to get anything done. I had wanted my invitations in the mail weeks ago and I received the finished product last week. When I did receive them, the counts were off for each element. Also, pricing was odd. Listed at one price, charged another, finally came to an agreement as to the final price. All that said, I do love the invites. I just wish they had been easier to get.

Natasha and her daughter were beyond informative, funny, personable, helpful, and were just such great hosts. Natasha walked us through the whole process from start to finish and gave us such creative freedom, all while helping with every step. The place itself is spacious and PERFECT for events for 10-20 people. The sunflower wall with the swinging seat is such an adorable addition to the place (perfect for cute pics, too!), along with the grassy wall with the lit up #BEnude sign. The actual candle making was something I will 100% do here again - we got to be little scientists for the day and we all loved it. The $20 bowls and mugs would be perfect to bring to all those work holiday gift exchanges where you are supposed to spend $20 on a gender-neutral gift and 90% of your co-workers wrap up a Starbucks gift card. Trust me, a $20 piece from this shop would be a way better gift!! I used to use glasses and plates from Pier One -and in a house full of busy teens and clumsy me many end up chipped or broken and we just toss them out- but this year I've been eating and drinking out of the hand-crafted mugs, bowls and plates from this shop. It makes a difference in how I approach meals and care for the items!! I get excited to eat off these truly beautiful creations and it makes me smile to know that each was crafted intentionally by a local artist. And I'm extra careful doing dishes now as I've grown so fond of each piece and I've watched the potters in the shop actually making the items so I know how much care and attention go into their work. Gabe, the artist/owner, was amazingly accommodating to work with on a commissioned piece. I loved the original piece so much that I added on 2 additional smaller pieces that he had in the studio ready for sale. Everything was affordable, unique, beautiful and made by hand! This is a local business that offers classes in resin and glass. There are so many different kinds…read moreof classes - in addition to the usual fused glass, slumped flower / coral bowls, stained glass, etc. they also do flamework and of course resin classes which I haven't seen elsewhere. Watch for seasonal classes (heart paperweight! turkey ornament!). Unlike the other suburban glass studio I've taken classes at, they also have a gift shop, so you can buy something instead of having to take a class if that's your jam. You could also actually buy the piece used to advertise a class. Pieces are affordable and there's a wide variety (cute little succulent gardens, stained glass, glass ornaments, resin keychains, etc.). Class prices are similar or a little less than what I've seen elsewhere, and if you become a member they're cheaper. Yes, they do open studio. I took a resin class, which was easy and fun; the teacher was patient and helpful. Class sizes are small (I actually got a solo class as a group canceled at the last minute). The owner was there, who was happy to show me cool projects related to the class I took, as well as to offer information about other classes they do. Signage is pretty good; you have to drive down a driveway to get to the businesses on the ground floor - look for the sign. Lots of parking.
