Upon walking in, you see tons off different boutiques sectioned off into different areas. There are handcrafted crafts and gifts from all different vendors, and no matter who you are, you're bound to find something you like, including candles, clothes, sports, food, jewelry, home decor, etc. Prices vary by product and vendor, so of course some vendors will be more expensive than others. Some even sell name-brands like Marc Jacobs. For the most part, I think prices were pretty fair! Not only were the products great, but so were the workers. One of the men who was stocking found out that I love penguins, so he was showing me penguin-themed items. He was nice, and we all kept laughing. Also, when we were checking out, both cashiers were extremely personable. One checked us out, and the other wrapped some of the more fragile items, which I appreciated. The cashier who checked us out absolutely loved us and had a great conversation with us about how we all had so much in common with her. When it comes to location, the building is within a strip mall, and they have tons of parking and other popular shops around. Overall, my friends and I all said we would for sure return to the store! Apparently, vendors normally update their booths every few weeks unless they're out of state, so we will definitely come back soon to see the new stock. Since it is Christmas time, the store was FULL of Christmas and holiday decor. I loved the atmosphere because of this! There were a few bare booths where no vendors were anymore, so it seems as though a couple of vendors left. *If you're an entrepreneur, I'd definitely look into a booth here!*

I have since probably purchased over 20 Jellycats from here, it's my favorite way to do so because I love supporting a local business and this shop is genuinely just the best. Outside of Jellycats, I've gotten Hello Kitty Blue Sky Ceramics, an Allen designs clock, Christmas ornaments, a lazy Susan, and baby gifts. Although I don't live in the area, anytime I'm out towards Oak Brook I ALWAYS make sure to stop by Fairytales to see what's new. Unfortunately due to the immense popularity of Jellycats, their stock has declined significantly which is a bit of a bummer, but it seems to be out of their control from my understanding. Everyone I've interacted with here has been incredibly sweet, I've done waitlist orders (I was able to get the large snow dragon jellycat this was as well as some of the rare Christmas ornaments!), and I've done a few online pickup orders as well. Each time my items are packaged beautifully and I feel so special walking out with the super high quality, beautifully branded Fairytales bag. Downtown Lombard truly has a gem, if it was closer to me I'd frequent a lot more, but it just makes my trips even more special when I do get to stop by.

I never had any as a child and my children will never have them either. Ever heard of the Annabelle Higgins doll? No? Google that shit, creepy as heck! Sooooo, anyways, we walk in and it's just a fun little shop with knick knacks and decorative items for your home. There was this big antique wheel and bird house that I wanted but it wasn't for sale. When I approached the counter no one acknowledged me so I said hi and an employee said hello back but didn't offer to take my order, so I assumed I needed to order at the tablet which is located before the seating and counter area. While placing my order, multiple people walked past me and ordered at the counter, so that was a little confusing. Those people were eating inside, though, so I thought maybe you need to use the tablet for take-out and order at the counter for eating in. To be honest, I'm still not sure. I assume if a person approaches the counter the employee should do more than just say hello and keep working, especially when I had to say it first, so that was a bit off-putting. I had perused their menu before my trip and wanted to try the breakfast pizza but when I saw it in person it looked old and dry so I decided to try the rice crispy treat instead. Well, it was so hard I had to microwave it when I got home just to be able to eat it. While it didn't taste stale, I don't think you should serve a rock hard rice crispy to someone and ask $4.50 to boot. All that said, the iced latte I ordered was exceptionally good, so I kept that in mind for the future. A few days ago I went back and ordered the same exact latte (via their app this time), just in a larger size. It tasted nothing like the one in January. Not only that, but after taking a sip and inquiring about getting some packets of sugar, I was told there were some around the corner from the counter. All I saw was fake sugar in packets and Sugar In The Raw in an open container with a spoon. Maybe I missed where the regular sugar was, I don't know. The whole area felt really disorganized and dirty which was a turn-off. For what they charge I expect fresher food and a consistent drink experience. I want to support small businesses but this place makes that hard. I won't be back.

I no longer have room to house that wide a collection & now they are impossible to sell due to overproduction instead of limiting quantities to make the price more sustainable. You can now buy them at garage sales & thrift stores for a few dollars at best, when they were originally as high as over $100 each. Shame on Enesco for destroying a once valuable collection that I had hoped would retain its value. I still display over 100 of my most priced ones from family & my late husband, but I now have totes filling my garage that I have no hopes of ever being able to sell.

She told me to call customer service. I did. I was on the phone for over an hour. They promised to follow up by email. I never heard back. My $40 was entirely gone. Then, a candle I purchased from Bath & Body Works exploded and nearly set my apartment on fire. Flames came from the outside of the candle & entirely caught fire to the entire wrapping & engulfed the entire product. I am lucky I caught it in time. I brought it back to the same store, upset, shaken, and concerned. Erin laughed in my face. She showed zero concern for the safety hazard and refused to exchange the candle. Again, she told me to "just call customer service." I explained I already had-and they didn't help. I asked if she, as a manager, had any authority to do something. She laughed again and said she didn't, & to call customer service. This is not just bad customer service-it's dangerous negligence. I've lost money, time, and trust. And I'm speaking up so others are aware. Bath & Body Works: do better. Your customers deserve to feel safe and respected. I will never be shopping at Bath & Body Works again & will be sharing this experience with everyone I know to warn others.
