I recently hired Richie for plumbing work during a full house remodel, and he was fantastic from start to finish. He came over multiple times at different stages whenever we needed him, always arriving right on time. Ritchie is a gem. I was visiting my 91 year old Mom in OC, and I found she had a number of plumbing issues to resolve quickly. Ritchie was extremely helpful in solving all my problems. Ritchie was very responsive on the phone, and he gave me a price range so I knew he was in-line with what it should cost and honest. Ritchie has a great attitude; he is professional and efficient in his work, and his truck is immaculate - a sign of an organized and responsible person. I had called 3 plumbers, and 1 had wanted to charge twice as much for a simple item. I think going forward, I can count on Ritchie to help my senior mom, and also, that he won't "price gouge" her, like unfortunatly, others do. Our Rinnai tankless water heater hadn't been working properly--we were only getting a few minutes of hot water before needing to press the recirculation button again. The plumber previously recommended by Rinnai couldn't identify the issue, especially since there were no error codes showing up. After a few more frustrating weeks, we found Retro Flow Plumbing during another search and decided to give them a call. Ritchie was able to come out right away! He spent the next 1.5 hours diligently and meticulously diagnosing the unit. Eventually, he suspected the problem might be with the valves, so he opened them up--and sure enough, they were corroded and clogged with sediment. He cleared everything out, and just like that, the hot water was working perfectly again. I have to share this, even though it's not related to plumbing work! My boss and I were stuck at a gas station with a flat tire, feeling pretty stressed about the situation, when Ritchie happened to be there and stepped in to help us out. He didn't have to, but he went above and beyond to get us back on the road. It says a lot about someone's character when they'll stop what they're doing to help total strangers in a bind. Ritchie was fantastic. He was contacted by my HOA to check out my garage which seemed to have a water leak. He called me almost immediately, changed his schedule to come out to my home within two hours, and then quickly resolved my problem. I thought I had an active water leak into my garage, but he checked thoroughly and found that the discoloration on my ceiling was from an old and inactive leak. So rather than do an unnecessary and costly repair, he assured me that all was fine and was on his way. Ritchie came out to replace the water heater without delay. He did a great job, was quick and efficient. One of the parts wasn't working so he came out a second time and problem solved it. But that wasn't enough because a couple days later the water heater was making a high pitched noise like it was about to launch. I contacted him and he came back a third time to assess.
