I'm completely stunned by how much I loved this shop. They have an incredibly wide selection of games from pretty much all generation of consoles ranging from common to super hard to find. Everything I saw looked in great shape as well. I was even able to find one of my grail games in perfect condition, and with the original strategy guide, at a surprisingly decent price. Scarlette was also very helpful in tracking down a few other games on my list. I'll definitely be back for those in the coming weeks! read more

Hands down the best place in the Carson/Reno area for older and newer games and consoles! Once you walk in the store, you are greeted by not only friendly staff and excellent service, but an overwhelming display of games and consoles that range from the old NES to the newer ones today. The owner is very passionate about gaming, and has a personal collection that I could only dream to have. I've had many a great conversation about games we've played, and our own personal favorites. Overall, this is my favorite place to go for games. If you are looking for retro games & consoles, then this is the place for you. They will even let you return a game if it doesn't work in your console, and will trade it with another one free of cost. Lastly, they are a one-stop-shop and they carry all of the accessories you may have forgotten about (like cords, memory cards galore, and cases for handhelds). I bet you forgot all about the rumble pack for you N64 controller, or the core memory expansion that you need to play certain games. Whatever it is retro, you name it, they have it. If you have any questions, they can answer them. And if you are looking for a specific game they do not have in stock, then no worries, just be sure to sign up at the store with your name and phone number and the owner will call you when the game is in Update: last review I left pretty much was a gush session. Very cool little store! They have a good selection of consoles, accessories, and games covering everything from old Atari 2600 to modern Xbox One. Prices are fair and decent too. The two gals running the front desk and servicing customers are friendly and give you space to browse. Everything is well organized and clean. The store recently relocated to a different location, from Washington to Hwy 50. Parking is tight and difficult here and the lot is not in good shape. Also, this location is much smaller than their Washington location. It feels a little tight and crowded on the weekends when we go, almost like the room can't breathe. I take off a star for that. Hopefully the store opens up a room that is currently blocked off with a curtain. We're always happy to go and always happy to recommend this place to gaming fans! read more

Great games at great prices!! Classic it's all great condition and they let you play the game before you buy! And if u want they also hold games up to 48s hours! From Atari, Nintendo, Sega, PlayStation, Xbox they have a huge classic games to pick from!! My husband called on a Saturday to find out if they had a Nintendo DS- and they did. He placed one on hold for us to pick up the next day, and asked the associate what the store hours were because we were coming from the north end of Reno, a 35 minute drive away. He said 12-5. The next day we came to pick up the item and arrived at 1:07 pm to find that they were CLOSED. My husband called the number and left a message explaining the situation and asking for a call back. He received one later that evening and the person he spoke with said they were closed for the holidays, apologized for the misinformation from the associate we originally spoke with, and offered to schedule a time for us to come get the item. We accepted and scheduled for Tuesday at 2:00 pm. Someone showed 20 minutes late. The guy that showed was helpful and nice; but what a hassle. read more

An absolute must for anyone who considers themselves a retro gamer! This place has the coolest vibe! They always have several different systems running at any given time and Super Smash Bro. Tournaments they put on. The stock is incredible and diverse and the prices are very reasonable. We've picked up a couple Atari joysticks (which were like new!) for our systems and several Atari 2600 cartridges. Great business run by great people. I was visiting family from out of town when my sister was telling me I had to check this place out. I went in and met Nick the owner and this was one of the coolest stores I have been to in quite some time. Nick was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable of current and past titles. The store is very organized which I loved making it easy find what you are looking for. I walked out with some old favorites and had a blast the whole time I was there. Very cool place. The setup with the NES on an old school console TV is perfect, just like when I was a little guy! Took my little guy in and played some Super Mario Bros. and some Sonic the Hedgehog . The staff is super knowledgeable about all gaming systems and seem pretty passionate about it as well! Prices are very reasonable and they even have a sealed "never been touched by human hands" game! Everyone is friendly, I'll definitely be a loyal customer, just gotta put together my wish list. If there is a game you want and they don't have it, they'll search for it for you and keep an eye out for games you may be interested in. Love this place, wish I would have come sooner! read more
