The dentists keep telling us that they are dropping dental care plus because their customer service is terrible, they pay almost nothing, and they do not support top tier dental care. Considering a human gets one set of adult teeth we should be able to get the proper care we deserve. My employer selects our benefits so it's not like I have much choice in a plan. Going forward seems like the better option is to drop the insurance all together and self pay. The woman at their customer service told me that she couldn't tell me anything other than find a new dentist that accepts their plans. I told her thanks for her time and she asked if she could do anything else. Since she couldn't answer my initial questions I highly doubt she was capable of anything else. Horrible insurance provider. I've asked my company to make a change so we will see what 2022 benefits look like.
