First, he ghosted me and didn't call me back. Finally, after a few months passed, I got him to come back. He told me he would send me an estimate later that day, and I never heard from him again. That was the last straw. I would not hire him again. If you say you're going to do something, you need to do it and not string along customers.

Closing was delayed for 3 weeks because of plumbing and pool issues from the freeze. There was this specific part that everyone seem to be looking for. It was a hard find, but during the time it took to get to the sellers to fix the pool, I reached out to Chris and he said he had used part that was still good. He was willing to help us by letting us "borrow" the part until the new one arrived. By doing this, it allowed us to get the pool running and get the other issues fixed. We were able to close on the house that week. On top of that, he dropped off the part and picked it up. This is an extreme act of kindness. He doesn't even know who we are. He didn't demand or ask us to use his service. Most people would say we have to use their service to get the part. We didnt because the seller used their own pool guy and the guy was already involved from the beginning of the process. The people in the FB group highly recommended Chris because he came to fix their pool and their neighbors' pools. Everyone was having pool issues and it was so hard to get parts and for someone to come out. I really appreciate Chris for his generosity and for helping a stranger.
