I…read morebrought my AWD Mazda SUV in because of the tires I purchased a year ago has severe outer edge chopping that is causing a loud howling noise while driving, along with obvious feathering on the edges. Even the dealer confirmed the tires are defective and causing the noise. Instead of standing behind the warranty, Mavis Manager wants to replace only ONE tire on an AWD vehicle. Which we contacted corporate for help with the issue, we were told by the Manager of the store that we should hear something in a couple of days, so far after calling corporate and speaking with a few people, who blames the store management for not sending the correct tire information, it's been almost 3 months and nothing yet, still waiting for corporate to call. Anyone who understands AWD systems knows mismatched tread depth can cause drivability problems, pulling, and unnecessary stress on the drivetrain. Replacing just one tire is irresponsible. What made this even worse was hearing Kevin, the manager at the Joliet Mavis location, openly admit that "corporate just bounces people around and does the minimum if they do anything at all." That tells you everything you need to know about how this company treats customers after the sale. They were happy to take my money when I bought the tires, but when there's a legitimate warranty issue, suddenly they want to do the bare minimum and ignore the actual problem. Between the road noise, uneven wear, and poor customer service, I would never recommend Mavis Tire to anyone. Please let friends and family know to not go there. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere that actually stands behind their products and warranties.

Several months ago I had Lambo doors installed on a 2024' Corvette Convertible. The process was…read moreeasy and quick. Tony recommended at the time that they could also install led lighting on the bottom side of the doors for better lighting and added highlight. The after effect was beautiful as you can see from the photos attached. Over the last couple weeks the doors stopped functioning smoothly so I called Shockwave this morning to see about realigning the hinges. Ten minutes later, I received a message back to bring the car back anytime before 6pm closing. I stopped in during lunch break unannounced today. Their service technician stopped his current project and immediately grabbed the correct tools and readjusted both doors. 15 minutes later I was back on the road - No Charge. I wouldn't come back again, there's other businesses either way.

I am extremely disappointed with this place…read more I bought tires in July 2025 and had them installed here with no issues at all. Everything was supposedly "perfect" at that time. Yesterday, my daughter -- it's her SUV -- had ONE tire losing air. I told her to go back because the tires have a warranty and simply get the leak fixed. Instead of repairing the issue, they told her one rim had corrosion and that the "best option" was to replace ALL FOUR rims for $700. She went in for a simple leak repair on ONE tire and walked out spending $700 on four rims she did not plan to buy. Because she doesn't know much about cars, she trusted what they told her. That is not right. When I spoke to the manager, the only thing he said in their defense was that "that was the option she chose." That was his entire explanation. He also told me he has been "helping people for 30 years" and that this is what they do with all customers. That response was unbelievable. Instead of taking responsibility or even acknowledging the situation, he completely dismissed my concerns. If this is how they treat customers -- especially those who don't know much about cars -- that is a serious problem. Offering the most expensive solution right away instead of attempting a simple fix first feels misleading and predatory. I have already filed a complaint with customer service. I expected honesty and integrity, not pressure tactics and upselling. Very disappointed.
