He kept telling me how nice it looked, and how he thought it wasn't very dirty. He was in and out of the house very quickly, and we had two sets of stairs, and several rooms to clean. The carpet didn't look much better when he was done, and two months later, it looks much worse that if we hadn't had them "cleaned" at all. I was hoping the "zero residue" would prevent this, but it turns out the only difference is that they use purified water. We are going to have to hire another company to come in and clean properly just to get the carpet to look as good as it did before Zerorez came out to "clean" it.

So based on his quote we set up the cleaning for the end of the month, without even checking out competitors pricing (which I always compare) but base on what we were quoted we went ahead and set the appointment. They get there today and say. It is now $207.00. I was very confused and upset by this change of price. I called the owner Pat and he said too bad,this is how it is and it does not matter that we were quoted a different price by one of His Employees. I told Pat this I will be filing with the better business bureau, which he said he is a member of- I am sure with a bad rating with this kind of scam going on, he said ok. This cleaning method doesn't do any sort of extraction of your carpet (they don't have any sort of hoses to extract dirt and grime). My carpet now feels crunchy and like there is a residue all over it. My furniture is the same way. If you touch the sofa, then go wash your hands- it's like there is a film left all over the furniture. There was ONE pet stain I identified to the man cleaning and it is still there and still has an odor! I trusted that he would address the ONE spot I was concerned about and I was very wrong. It is in a bedroom so I guess I will live with that until I pay someone else another $300 to clean it again. I'm not sure how their reviews are so great on the internet (trust me I looked before hiring), but it seems like their customers either have low standards, or like crunchy/ residue filled carpet. Oxi Fresh was recommended to us and we paid extra for the odor block service. They don't move the furniture (watched while I moved the couch and chair and coffee table myself). The carpet looked nice after, but reeked of pee less than a week after. I called the call center and was told the owner would call me back. Never happened. We used a black light and the stain is clearly still visible... smell is the same. Basically paid to move my furniture and have someone put pretty lines in the carpet. Definitely not worth it.
