After writing this review, I went back through my chart notes and noticed something I hadn't caught at the time. My first visit on 5/18, I came in wanting to stop my forehead from scrunching, and they gave me 12 units in my glabella. When that didn't address what I'd asked about, I returned on 6/3 and paid separately for 10 units in my forehead, which did work. I've only ever asked for forehead Botox before and wasn't familiar with the term glabella, so I didn't realize these were two different areas being treated. I raised this with the practice, and their records reflect the 6/3 visit as an added area rather than a correction, so we see it differently. I'd encourage anyone going in to confirm specifically which muscle is being treated and what it will and won't address. I assumed I was being treated for the concern I asked about, and that assumption cost me a second visit. The masseter Botox I received was fine, but paying twice to get the one thing I originally asked for is hard to look past. The staff themselves were good but my issue is with how the treatment and this follow up was handled.

I saw Seth for 6 months while I was there once a week, and he was absolutely fantastic. He is the best therapist that I have found since my friend that I was seeing for over 5 years before the pandemic in San Diego caused him to retire and relocate. He did so many of the same things that it was a huge relief to find that. I really could not recommend Seth enough, from different techniques of cupping, assisted stretching, deep tissue, lymphatic drain, chranial sacral, he did a great job helping to mitigate my pain symptoms and give me back a modicum of my energy that I needed to get through my days. Had I not had so many difficulties outside my medical massage, he would have been central to my physical therapy and medical rehab plan to rebuild my strength, but I had to leave due to difficulties with the VA system and being unable to acclimate to the altitude and dryness after so many years at sea level. Went for leg compression first. I reclined and chatted with my friends. This 15 min flew by and felt so good on my sore muscles. Sauna was nice and dry which gave the perfect amount of sweat without feeling sticky. Quick rinse and it was game time. If I'm being honest, the cold tub was torturous. I went from gasping for air to calm to the most violent shivering on earth. Then into the hot tub where my skin felt like it was on fire. Then back to violence. Was it horrifying? Yes. Would I do it again? Yes. I closed it off with red light therapy and left this place absolutely buzzing. Whatever happened in that 37 degree death trap resulted in some sort of high that I can't explain. I feel like I could run through a wall. I found this place via Tim at a wellness event and he is awesome to chat with. The employee on site, KB, is an absolute gem. She walked us through every step so thoroughly and cheered us on through all the shivers. I will definitely be incorporating this into my routine.
