My friend and I made appointments for a couples renewal massage after we both had received gift cards. While the robes and somd of the amenities are nice, the massage was really what I was there to enjoy. I was trying my best to not get upset (45, single mom of twin 2 year olds- I needed this break and massage) it just didn't hit the mark. I told the therapist I'd like it firmer and harder and not light touches and I think she must have thought I said the opposite- soft tickling type of massage and she didn't seem to want that style to change. Maybe she's knew but I have never gone up and down (being raised by her foot control) so many times in my life. Maybe she has back problems? My friend asked me afterwards why she was so loud (like I knew why? lol). Several times washing her hands and then threw the robe on my legs after the massage. Miss the exfoliating scrub at the end! Those were wonderful. While the after treatment room is nice, I'm sad to say, this just was such a disappointment. Hoping to have enough funds to give it another try at some point.

They have no idea how to cut or style wavy hair. They damaged my daughter's hair by cutting it underneath to remove volume. What is achieved with this is shearing it. They did not know how to dry it, her hair was completely frizzy, there was no wave in her hair. It was horrible and sad what they did to her. Although, the owner was not in the salon and did not see my daughter's hair, she told me that she would not charge me, but not because of them having done a terrible job but because the work did not meet my expectations and she added that she did not want us to go back there never ever again. Obviously I never want to go back there. This is not about money, this is about a teenager's self esteem. For this visit, I was getting my very long hair cut and highlighted with Tiffanie. She took the time to get an idea of what sort of color I was looking for in my highlights, whether I wanted warm or cool tones, and then what I wanted my cut to look like. I was offered coffee or tea which is always a bonus touch for me. The color turned out perfectly (byeeee grays!). The cut ended up going well beyond the 3 inches I had asked for, but as it was taking shape I kinda stopped worrying about it because the cut itself looked perfect on me. My only critique would be that maybe they could feel out the clientele a little bit before launching into a conversation with a lot of expletives. It didn't personally bother me at all, but I'd never been here before so I'm not sure that would've been known about me until we got talking. I could see how some new person might get easily offended if it wasn't their communication style.

Takes very long time to grow so very upset. Hair is now flat as a board and very unflattering. I wish Hairstylists listened to what you ask for instead of doing what they think is best.
