I ordered a $7,500 sofa and paid $500 in shipping. I ordered an item and color that was in stock and given a shipping date range both over the phone and via email on my order confirmation. Got a call from the shipping company that my order was there and schedule a delivery - great, it's at the early end of the range i was given. But the shipping company says they are booked for at least an additional month and they will call me when the date gets closer. We are now looking at over double the estimated wait time and no end in sight. I tell them if it's just sitting in the warehouse, I'll pick it up- nope, that's not allowed. I call the sales associate who doesn't return my calls- finally, her solution: "just keep calling the delivery company. Maybe they will squeeze you in". But she will call the delivery company and call back. And she never called back. Finally i call the corporate number and explain- she pulls up my order and reads the notes to me- it has a specific delivery date even 2 weeks later than the company mentioned even though the company said they couldn't give me an exact date. I was also told i requested this date. Sounds to me like someone is making up information to cover for their poor customer service and backlogs. I was going to be waiting over 8 weeks for an "in stock item" after paying $500 in shipping. But the lies on my account about me requesting that date and the sales associate not even returning calls once they have your money - i cancelled the order. The cancellation was the only smooth thing about this experience. read more

This is the most beautiful restaurant with the worst menu. The food is average and overpriced and the selection is lacking. There really isn't anything interesting about the menu items and all the entrees are a la carte which is ridiculous for what they charge. A piece of salmon with a lemon wedge for $34???? The wine list by the glass is more varied than the menu but the prices and pours are also maddening. How do they rationalize a Caesar salad for $20. Without any protein. When asked about dessert, the waitress over zealously described the ice cream and cookies and that was it! The menu is a stark contrast to the beauty and elegance of the restaurant. This has been the worse experience ever. The gallery is beautiful but I have had nothing but trouble with RH Items. Multiple pieces have been delivered damaged multiple times. One example, a lamp was delivered 4 times before it was correct. One lamp was delivered with a severed cord. I am still waiting, we'll over a year after it was originally otdered, for an item that has been returned twice because of damage. There is definitely a lack of quality control with the manufacturer. read more

Without question this is an attractive building, landscape, merchandise, etc. If, however, the company is looking to actually pay for the building via sales generated by the people we encountered, it will be an uphill climb. I just walked the business, from top to bottom, spending almost 30 minutes. During that time, exactly ONE employee said "hello." Not a single employee asked if I needed assistance, was looking for something, enjoyed the new store...nothing. I'm certain all can speak because there were numerous chats happening between employees. Others had their dusters in hand while others were dutifully fluffing pillows and throws. I agree. Pretty place with some special merchandise. I'm sure the place will be successful based on the power of the brand and location but at present it appears the "on the floor" staff was selected based on how great they look in black outfits versus their ability (and interest) in assisting clients. read more

Great merchandise, worst customer service ever. I actually don't even care about service usually. I just purchase and move on with as little interaction with staff at stores as possible. That's said, the service is so bad here it requires a review. First off the snooty attitude that was given to my girlfriend and daughter while purchasing...news flash, you are working retail and serving people who are spending 10k at a time. My kid can sit on whatever she wants and be as loud as she wants while your associates spend 30 minutes counting cash like they are 3rd graders. The delivery process, the saga continues...call 40 minutes after delivery window to advise they will be 20 minutes late.......they leave furniture in the wrong room, which is an honest mistake. But now they are lost on who is going to rectify the problem. I have contractors in the home and I wanted the products out of the way. As of this review my product is still in the wrong room. I wanted to do my basement and walk in closet through this company. But I'll def never ship here again and would advise those with the money to shop here again. I advise consumers to find a different place to spend their money. If the articles I purchased don't make it to the proper rooms by tomorrow, I will be returning every item I purchased. Long story short, avoid this store, product very nice, service worse than McDonald's. read more

After trying a couple new places this weekend, this was the highlight! The ambiance was beautiful. Chandeliers, light music, a beautiful water fountain and glass rooftop letting the sunset shine through made the perfect romantic setting. The food was awesome and Sam, our waiter, was so attentive, friendly and offered great menu suggestions. I would highly recommend this place. read more

The worst company ever....received bath towels as a house warming gift and order 4 more sets and received 42 sets all together and had ordered 6 Pool Towels with Monogram and received 16 and half did not arrive with monograms and had to find someone to monogram them. For the price point I cannot believe that this company cannot get it right! The staff is great but they work for a crap company so no reflection on them. Buyer beware...if they can't get towels right I can only imagine what a nightmare ordering furniture or lighting must be! read more

Maybe it's because we haven't sat down for a meal away from home in over a year, but this was one of the best meals I've ever had. The service is beyond helpful and kind. We got the Burrata, Lobster Roll, Burger, Truffled Fries, and Bellinis. The burger was a bit dry but can't recommend the rest of it enough! I'll never get another app than the Burrata. The truffled fries can't be skipped (there's plenty for two!). The lobster roll was DIVINE. They gave us a delicious cookie for our anniversary and we couldn't have had a better server. Cool place. Incredible lighting, glass roof, well trimmed fauna, outdoor rooftop seating, the vibe is great. I think the interior design is where they shine, to be expected from a furniture store. Was dressed down, got a lot of funny looks from some of the staff, felt like one of the store employees was following me, understandable but felt overdone. Got a burger that ended up running me about 30 bucks, was told they were usually done with a bit of pink in the middle but when it came I found no pink. The avocado felt underripe in consistency. The bun was great, the pickles were great, just was hoping for a little more than a double stacked smash burger. The lack of a bar and complete list of 4 beers was also a bit of a letdown. The wine list was semi extensive, but most of it was pretty commercial. It's a good space, seems like good people working there, but it's a pretty casual dining experience that's treated and dressed like a fine dining experience. Not sure if i'll be back. read more

Very nice restaurant on the 3rd floor, almost the rudest and horrible service i've experienced in a while. Totally ignored me and my table, didn't ask how food was, no refills on drinks, walked past several times and just passed by but took much more care to tables around us. I have been receiving Restoration Hardware catalogues for a number of years, and it is my dream to someday have a house fuuuuulllll of RH pieces. The look books are awesome inspiration for around the house, and it's always fun to look at the store! Walking into the RH at the Galleria is awesome. It's like a mini-IKEA, only less crowded...and about ten times the price. So the price isn't as fun as IKEA, but it's still always fun to look and dream. :) The staff is friendly and available to answer any questions you might have. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. Is it expensive? Yes. That's the price of quality, or just not having the same stuff as everybody else. (Seriously, half the houses we looked at buying in Fargo all had the exact same sink in the bathrooms.) Is it worth it? That's a judgment call. Sure, they have the Versailles chair that was mocked on Rules of Engagement and is pretty awful to sit in from an audio standpoint. But they also have the Aviator chair that is possibly the most beautiful seat I've ever seen. It's all about taste, and RH has pieces you won't find anywhere else. read more

I visited this store today, all set to purchase a great-looking Vintage French Upholstered side chair. My lucky day, it was on sale for $249 and in stock. All set to write it up when the sales person mentioned that there is a mandatory $149 delivery charge. What? This item is small, think dining room chair-size, and would easily fit in my car and I'm being asked to pay $149 to have it delivered with NO other options available?? What store does that???? Do not shop here! They are the "xfinity" of furniture stores. After several back orders on a VERY expensive sectional sofa that they GUARANTEED was going to get to me by early July, it continues being back ordered, and they switched vendors. When I was concerned about whether the quality would be the same, the manager (Mark) condescendingly told me that "well they haven't had any complaints", but insisted that if I wasn't satisfied with the quality I had no recourse. Furthermore, I probably spent 4 hours on hold and trying to contact managers with the issues and left probably 6-7 messages for a manager to call me back without response. Now, I finally decided to cancel the order after months of back and forth, was confirmed that it would be cancelled and refunded, and a week later they charged my card AGAIN ELEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS! I'm trying to book a flight to visit a friend dying of cancer and my card is maxed because I wasn't anticipating $11,000 on it! For a sofa I cancelled!!! And of course can't get in touch with a manager again. I'm beyond upset. Do not shop here! read more

ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD... We spent quite a while searching and saving to buy the perfect bed for our new home and finally decided on the Cloud Bed from Restoration Hardware located in Edina at the Galleria. Afterall, it's a beautiful store with beautiful furniture and nice staff who present high standards. We purchased the bed and requested full delivery service. The delivery date was set 4 weeks out (which wasn't a problem). Fast forward to our INITIAL delivery date. The individuals showed up with only the frame of the bed and no rails or hardware. They could not assemble the bed. After countless calls I was told that my parts were in Minnesota and that I would have to wait STANDARD delivery time to correct their mistake. I actually had to push for expedited service (which should have been offered initially). Fast forward a 4 days later delivery people show up to my home with no parts AGAIN and can not assemble my bed. After speaking with managers who were apologetic we still ended up with no parts and now, no bed. Needless to say, the delivery guys are coming back to my home again...this time to pick up the bed. I am returning it. Do not be amused be the appearance of the the store; once you pay your hard earned money it's a crapshoot whether or not you will get your product per purchase agreement. One day off work and one Saturday wasted on an empty delivery and pick up. Definitely not the standard I expect or deserve as a customer. read more

They basically misrepresented something they had in store, which caused me to waste a couple hours making a trip to the store.... Beautiful pieces. The store has a lot of nice stuff. Crap customer service. 2 different women on 2 different occasions gave us misinformation on product type, product materials, and price quotes. Complete incompetence. They were looking up the wrong products, the wrong color the wrong pricing. We were told that the rug was final sale when it wasn't. We were promised we could get the extra 20% off sale price when the promotion had already expired. That's just the store experience. The ordering experience - we ordered a rug on line after bringing home several swatches to look at. A 12" swatch is not ideal to gauge an 8x10" rug, by the way. The swatch looked completely different from the rug that came in the order. The rug that we got looked washed out and dull. It's a $4000 rug; you expect better quality and better quality control. The coloration is completely wrong - it's like they sent us the blue/grey instead of the grey/dark grey, and the yarn that was used was completely different. Sure, the description on-line said, "slight variation." This was anything but "slight" variation. The kicker is that the return shipping is the buyer's responsibility. Horrible return policy. We were told that we could return via USPS. You can't return a rug through USPS - way too oversized. Returning to the store isn't allowed. Returning via UPS...be prepared to pay 100s. read more

We purchased a powder room vanity. (1930's French mirrored..). It looks great but is built it in a way that makes it almost impossible to install. The drawers cannot be removed so hooking up the plumbing is a nightmare. Also, the middle drawer will usually need to be cut to accommodate the drain plumbing. All in all a great looking piece, that is very expensive, and not functional. read more

*WOW* Customer service the way it used to be!! I am IMPRESSED!!! I am a former Chicagoan and my husband is from New York-we're used to having access to the beautiful, unique items at Restoration Hardware-however his job as a physician took us to a rural area in Northwest Iowa-closest Restoration Hardware is 3 1/2 hours away in Edina, Minnesota. So we've got a huge paint project and we've always painted our homes almost entirely with Restoration Hardware paint-it's gorgeous-the colors and the finish are incredible! Since my paint order still hasn't arrived and my painter is ready to start a week early I call the Restoration Hardware store in Edina and make sure they have some of the paint in the store that I need & head out and drive the 3 1/2 hours to pick up my paint. Seven hours later of drive time I've got my paint. Our painter comes the next day to start and there's something wrong with the paint- it won't mix. Obviously when I called the store I was one REALLY aggravated customer- suffice it to say that their positive and helpful response, proactive approach, great customer service and above and beyond effort to fix a bad situation has really made me a Restoration Hardware customer for life!! The group that works for the Edina Minnesota store is second to none!! They jumped into action and literally called the manufacturer of their paint to see if they could have it made up for me and shipped overnight to my home. One of the management staff followed up and even called me on her day off from home to make sure that the situation was rectified. They did everything they could possibly do and then some to fix the situation way above my expectations and my husbands-not only did the paint arrive quickly but they comped the entire paint order and also sent us a Restoration Hardware credit to compensate me for my drive time up & back home. We love RH! We bought two sofas and two chairs from here. We worked with a designer and he was wonderful and friendly! A mistake was made when ordering our chairs (they were ordered in the wrong color gray, an honest mistake). The store let us keep the incorrect chairs until the new ones arrived as they were a custom order. I have bought many things online and I have also returned a few things in the store. I felt I was treated respectfully whether it be an $8 transaction or an $8000 transaction. This store isn't perfect but was overall a great experience. read more
