I mean, what can I say about RTC?! It's an OG location for hanging out...different age ranges. It did slow down a bit for a while, but now I feel foot traffic has increased. It is home to many restaurants (Mon Ami Gabi, Jackson's Mighty Fine Food & Lucky Lounge, Fogo De Chau, etc.) as well as coffee spots (Starbucks, Tatte Bakery & Cafe) and Pitango. There are also many stores in between the restaurants such (Apple, Sephora, phone providers, etc.). The movie theatre name changed to "Look dine-in cinemas". I have been here different days, different times and the crowds always vary. It is Definitely nice to walk around, and they have ice skating (when the weather permits). There is plenty of free garage parking available, some parallel parking available.

You can rest in Reston. People watch, doze in a chair, listen to the water fountain, or just enjoy being there. Lots of shopping and eating to be done. No charge for parking garage.

Choices, choices, choices. This neighborhood is dense with restaurants, retail shopping, office spaces and apartments/condos. There's even a hotel here. Wide sidewalks, plenty of shade and good markings at the crossings. This is near the soon-to-be-opened Reston stop on the Silver Line so I'm sure the clientele will change somewhat once that happens. Until then, there is paid parking in the garages available. [Review 11564 overall, 1344 of 2019.]

A beautiful, thoughtfully developed town center square with green space. We came here for an open-air performance on a pleasant Saturday evening and had a great time. The square is surrounded by high end shops and nice restaurants. In the center there's a little amphitheater and lots of flowers. The whole place is just very nice, a much needed urban retreat.

I don't want to Reston my laurels, so I'll write a review of this "modern style village-esque" Mall. I'm not a big fan of the Reston Town Center. They're trying to be all cool and European but what you end up having is a really difficult place to park and lots of fancy overpriced shops - most of which don't appeal to me at all. Unless you have lots of money which I guess a lot of the people in Northern Virginia do, then don't even bother coming around these parts. And the salad bar that they have here is not particularly great either.

Recommend you call to express concerns. Feel bad for businesses which I am sure are hurt by this paid parking fiasco

We used to enjoy going to Reston Town Center. The Apple Store there was one of our favorite "Go To" locations and the restaurant selection is pretty good. **Jackon's never failed to please!** Since the paid parking kicked in (seriously?) with the goofy one trick pony RTC-only parking app (heard of Park Mobile?), along with the confusing and threatening signage (going to disable my car eh?) well... it became a "oh yea, paid parking, lets go to [fill in blank] instead!" when someone in my family mentions RTC. At this point we have all but stopped going. We visit our "friend Jackson" and his mighty fine eats once in a while now but it is a rarity. And RTC was our "go to" :-( My family of 5 drivers rediscovered Tyson's Corner, & FairFax Mall. We found the Potomac Town Center with a huge Apple Store that was not crowded and all brand new restaurants. We started going to The Promenade and Atlas Walk Way which is much closer to our home with a great theater and an intimate European style coffee bar and pastry shop called Trummers (try the beignets!) and it reminded us that "intimate" is what RTC truly lacked. We called Boston Properties at 703.579.6720, the parking fiasco headquarters, and expressed our discontent. It's funny what a little $ slap in the face and goofy app can do. It saved us a lot of driving and helped us rediscover and discover new places. Reston Town who? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Wow! They have everything I need. Great restaurants, nice shops, and a tiny ice skate. Restaurant: Clyde's, McCormick, etc... Shops: Apple, Banana Republic, etc... Parking lot: Plenty of free street parking.

Please do not touch RTC with a 10 foot pole because they are going to start charging for parking on January 3rd, 2017. :( I have heard that staff are not very friendly and helpful at all. I'm giving them 1 star. The not so friendly folks at BP Reston Town Center have seriously have not been courteous and helpful since they changed the street and garage situation on January 3rd. That was totally uncalled for and unfair to both the residents, workers and the patrons of RTC. Pottery Barn and Williams-Sonoma are shutting down operations and leaving at the end of this week because of the unfair parking situation that Boston Properties has created. :(

But when I pulled in here, I wasn't mad. Visiting a mall early in the morning is weird. It is mostly deserted. No stores open. Almost completely void of people except those in here doing their jobs. Kind of gives you the 'Dawn of the Dead' vibe, like you are one of the only survivors left in the world. Odd to say, but almost peaceful. This mall seems to be doing fairly well. I did not see many vacancies. Which is great, and almost always the case in this area. This mall feels vast. The layout feels like you need to know exactly what you are getting in here, or set aside time to allow you to freely wander in here. My stop, to use the facilities, took a bit longer than I expected. I have never been here before, and this was not a good thing. I ended up parking in what I thought was the middle of the mall, however, not knowing where the restrooms were, I ended up walking for a while. What was interesting was when I did finally find the restrooms, if I would have used one of the other entrances nearby, it would have been a much quicker stop. But I wouldn't have had the zombie vibe.

The only reason we visit is to walk the empty mall after a large meal at the Cheesecake Factory. My most recent disappointment is the closure sign at the Starbucks. Sometimes I stop in during the holidays to purchase from the See's Candy pop up. There's a new entertainment center that had laser tag, bowling and other games. The food court still exists but it's scarce.

However, on a recent trip coming back home, I made my way here to kill some time as I had the day off from work. First things first, what a nightmare to find a parking spot and to not get run over by traversing the parking area. I thought I had gone the wrong way at one point to find a spot. And when I did find a spot I was confused and thought I had to pay to park. I wish it were just easily marked on where to go here. Once parked, I found my way inside and just meandered around the space. Popping in an out of stores as I saw appealing. They really do have a ton of selections here. Huge amount of time can be lost here if you are on a time crunch. I was in no rush, so I wandered around until I had my fill of the space. My suggestion to you. Come early in the morning, you will definitely be able to get in and out of each store you need to with ample time. Less hassle in the parking lot. And less hassle walking between stores. Or, if you are up for it, travel here by Metro.
