Good thing is the splash pad is open from 10 am- 10 pm so you can get there early to dodge the summer heat or enjoy the water play during the concert. It's great not having to worry about paying for parking at the ramps and there are fun lights on the water fountains as well as some interesting play structures at the plaza. My daughter is still a bit young but maybe by next summer she'll be ready to climb and play on the interactive play ground.

One of the best shopping centers in Fairfax County!…read more 1. It never has a lack of parking. 2. The Giant here gives a homey vibe. I have run into many staff that have been here for over a decade and more, and they are always so friendly and warm. 3. The array of restaurants available in the strip-- bagels/smoothies for grab and go, casual dining options, and more. 4. The CVS can be a little crummy but it's always been reliable for photo printing, pharmacy, etc. 5. Extraneous: Music & Arts store, a cleaner's, nail salon, etc. Located across the library, I have always seen students in the area study before walking across the street for errands or a bite. It's also always very clean and tidy in the lot and by the stores.

Yet this area of Fairfax is high end, so this strip mall doesn't seem to fit. The Tropical Smoothie might be the most happening store. Okay Music and Arts is decent. Famous Dave's is a disappointment, and the CVS here can be a zoo. California Tortilla is overrated, although thankful Tony's Pizza is here now. It's smaller than the Fair Lakes one, but just happy it is on the premises. There's a ABC, Hallmark, and Starbucks. That's just not very exciting. My hope is one day this can be hooked up.

The parking area in front of Walmart is often full and can be narrow, making it confusing for first-time visitors to enter and exit. In contrast, ample parking is available on the side where many of the eateries are located.

Parking situation, there are some spaces available between the stores on the street however there are a few garages where parking is plentiful. However figuring out the best way in or out I have yet to master when coming here. Stores there are a lot of shops here which gives this place an advantage over One Loudoun. One bit of fair warning we went on a rather hot and humid day and unfortunately when walking around there wasn't a lot of shade to walk into give you a bit of a break from the heat. There were some restaurants here but not as many as One Loudoun so they lose out in the advantage here. Overall I'd come back mostly to explore the shops more, with two teenagers in tow who aren't super into shopping I didn't want to belabor things. The one downside is that the shops are on a long corridor, so if you want to come to one particular place then trying to figure out where to strategically park to get in and out quickly could be an issue. Overall I was glad we decided to come here and I got the chance to check this place out a bit more.
