    Food truck at Brome Fair
    Kassidy K.

My boyfriend and I stopped by this food truck at the big bad brome fair. We tried the general tao poutine, poutine pop curds and a pork taco. Everything was delicious and also as a bonus for me, everything was made with pork. Warning, the pork taco is very tiny but also quite cheap and very yummy so buy lots! The menu is kept quite small but the food comes out quick. If I ever see this food truck chilling out anywhere I will definitely stop to try out another interesting poutine.

    Poutine for lunch!

Saved by Google Translate in reading menu. Great poutine. Friendly staff. Had the pork and Bbq sauce. Found it excellent.

Literally the best poutine I've ever had. Insanely delicious, has cheese curds and gravy throughout. Fantastic poutine!

There are several tables scattered around a large room with high ceilings and a bit of outdoor seating right at an intersection making for plenty of people watching. We came for the beer and sat at the bar. Chalkboards list the available beers as does their website. There are plenty to choose from and you can get a growler to go. Besides beer they have a few wines, scotch, bourbon and full bar as well as snacks, hot dogs and sandwiches. We ordered a bread and cheese snack which was a soft, brie like cheese and warm baguette. This was a very tasty snack. My SO got a spicy hotdog which he very much enjoyed. All the staff were friendly and the area clean. There are two restrooms down a hall near the bar, each is a 'single person', one men's one woman's. Located in the city, parking is on street, paid lot or garage. I recommend public transportation, bike or walk. This very laid back, easy going, beer focused business should definitely be on your list if you enjoy craft brews.

We made a reservation the day of for 8:30 and were seated quickly. Every table was occupied. The parking lot was full so we parked for free on a nearby residential street and walked a couple blocks. The waitstaff was charming and perfectly fluent in English and French. Our friendly server was excellent and made us feel so welcome not just to the restaurant, but to the town of Sherbrooke. The inside is classy and elegant without being overly formal. Every dish was plated beautifully and I took lots of photos. I had the vegetarian option of pasta and vegetables, and it was beyond any pasta and vegetables I have eaten before! The flavors were perfectly balanced with garlic and lemon and very light cream, and the pasta was fresh and had a pleasantly firm texture. There was a good ratio of vegetables to pasta. Everyone in our group completely loved their meals. The person who ordered the moules-frites said they were spot-on and excellent. Other favorites from our variety of dishes were the fish soup and the creme brûlée. We were here eating and talking for over 2 hours and never felt rushed even though we were amongst the last diners to leave. This is definitely a restaurant worthy of traveling a couple hours to get to! If you are anywhere even slightly in the area, please go here, you will be glad you did.

My friend and I were surprised when we walked in that it was completely empty... until I realized there was a second room that was full of windows that let in a ton of sun - that's where everyone was! It was too cold that day to be outside, but there was also an outdoor patio area. Our first server was pretty friendly. He told us which beers were part of the day's Happy Hour deal ($5 for a pint!) I ordered a cider because I'm not a beer person, and it was quite good! My friend and I shared a poutine, which was delicious! The gravy wasn't too heavy and the cheese curds tasted great. At that point we were given another server. (Shift change maybe?) The new server wasn't as friendly and came infrequently and in the other room majority of the time, so we had to flag them down for things like water refill and the bill the times they did come back to sunny room. Overall a quaint modern brewery spot. It was a chill day and not too busy, but I enjoyed how we didn't feel rushed and we were able to stay for a good amount of time.

There's nice ambiance here, and you have a choice of where to sit, inside, outside, and a roofed terrace. They have a medium to large beer selection, though few on the inventory are darker beers (my preference). We got in our "mandatory for the weekend" order of poutine here, a standard smoked meat variety. Service goes with the flow (pun not intended), very casual and friendly but still prompt.
