It's not what we wanted (him gone) but it was the right thing to do since he had become ill and wasn't wanting to eat. In contacting them over the phone and sharing our situation, the attendant was extremely responsive and empathetic to our situation. As the date got closer, our poor boy declined quicker and we even had to move the date up. The company was super flexible and understanding and we were grateful they were able to accommodate this move to two days earlier. When the day came, we were certainly sad. When Dr. Benson arrived, she was soft spoken and kind. She greeted Moose and as soon as he noticed someone had walked in he got up and wagged his tail the best he could. This scene brought me to tears because that was the essence of who Moose was as our pet. He loved ALL humans and was always seeking their attention. Dr. Benson pet Moose and gave him love and affection. He received it and then went to his bed shortly after. She explained the process to us from start to finish. She was gentle in her wording and handling of every last detail. We set Moose up in one of his favorite sunning spots in the yard on his bed. And gracefully, Moose crossed over the rainbow bridge. We were given plenty of time to spend with Moose as the sedative worked and then after the final moments we were able to say our final goodbyes. The gentlemen who came to take care of Moose afterwards was soft spoken and extremely kind. He took care of Moose and left respectfully as he came. We are so grateful from start to finish how this went with our beloved boy. We will forever miss him. But the send off he was given will be forever a part of his journey. Thank you, Paws into Grace. Your whole team are gems.

However, there were some not so great things or improvements they should consider. Initial call with the lady to schedule was alright. She honestly didn't cover much of information, I felt like I had to ask her a lot of questions that she initially didn't mention. If she can slowly just go over from start to finish, it would've eased my mind a little bit more during this horrible time. In details... I know this is a business, but also this isn't something people go through every year (hopefully). The doctor came and she was very understanding of the situation. It felt like she was genuinely sorry for what we were going through as she also lost hers not long ago. I do wish that she would've stepped outside the house to give me little more privacy, but it is what it is. Im sure I could've asked. She did her best in the circumstances. Now, the worst part of this experience was the picking up the ashes. It took me 1 hour round trip to get there and it took 2 seconds to get her back and leave the place. The lady came out with a brown bag and hurried me out the door. I honestly didn't know what to expect, but that wasn't it. I was dumbfounded of like what just happened? Can I at least take a moment to open the bag to see what's all inside? Take a moment to just take it all in that I'm picking my child up as ashes? It felt like 'ok, you paid me, now you can go' vibe. It would've been nice to just take a moment instead of being rushed out. Also not sure why they don't offer drop off, I know a lot of people would pay extra for that so at least they are home when they receive the ashes back and go back to cry all they want at home. I really do appreciate what this company does, but there are something that need some improvements.

We drove there at 1am in the rain and had high hopes she would pull through, but the X-ray showed a terminal issue and the outcome was inevitable. We appreciate the compassion and professionalism of the staff, especially so late at night. Would highly recommend. My only complaints: 1) No airflow in the two rooms off to the side. Not so bad if you're only in there for 15 min but after an hour, you have to open the door just to breathe. 2) The TV in the lobby is too loud. The people working the counter can hear YOU through the glass partition, but are not aware that your ears are competing with the TV just to hear what they're saying back at you. Another customer came in just after us with a dog whose eye had popped out of the socket. :-( They also had difficulty hearing anything from the counter staff thanks to that TV. Maybe a nice, quiet video loop of relaxing/calming scenery, flowing water, etc.? I can't hear over David Attenborough's voice and that's saying a lot since he's a fairly soft-spoken guy.

When the staff spoke with us, his response was dismissive and showed no compassion. He even asked if bloody diarrhea was our only concern, despite us clearly explaining how serious her symptoms were. When I described Peanut's symptoms to the front desk staff, she immediately tried to assume it was a seizure, even though that was never part of her symptoms. After 45 minutes of waiting, the staff told us the doctor was ready and asked us to hand over Peanut. We were confused as to why we couldn't be present for the initial exam, but we complied. Another 30 minutes passed, and when we asked for an update, we were told the doctor was with another patient and Peanut was "next." Then Peanut vomited blood again, so she was taken back immediately and again we were told she was next. We waited another hour, and by this time it was 12:30 AM with still no care provided. At that point, we were frustrated and concerned for her safety, so we decided to leave and find another urgent care. We found WAG Animal ER, only 8 minutes away, with the same $100 exam fee and no wait. The difference was night and day. The staff there was kind, compassionate, and professional. Peanut was seen by a doctor within 5 minutes. And the Dr even called us 3 days later to check on her status.

My cat Chelsea passed away at home, peacefully. She was 16 years young. Since all of that happened without realizing it and after hours, I panicked a bit regarding what to do and how quickly to do it. From the moment I reached out to Peaceful Waters Aquamation, they treated me with so much kindness, patience, and understanding. Jennifer, who welcomed us, knew how much Chelsea meant to me and handled everything with genuine compassion and respect. What really meant the most was how gentle and thoughtful they were throughout the entire process. They didn't treat this like just another service, they truly honored my cat's life. That level of care made a heartbreaking situation just a little bit easier to bear. I selected to have Chelsea's ashes to be delivered in person. Kristine who delivered my cat's remains, handled everything beautifully and with such attention, it gave me a sense of peace knowing my pet was cared for so respectfully. Lastly, I can't say enough of how beautiful the paw prints were as well as the ashes in her little blue bag. I decided to purchase an urn somewhere else, but the way everything was presented to me upon reception made it feel like my cat was back home and it felt very comforting. I can't thank Peaceful Waters Aquamation enough for their compassion and support. If you're going through the loss of a beloved pet, I highly recommend them, they truly make a difference when you need it most.

Atlas was 13yo, and I made the difficult decision to decline the invasive treatment options available. Instead, I vowed that Atlas would live out the rest of his days with peace and joy, never stepping foot in a vet clinic again. Peaceful Veterinary Care allowed me to keep that vow to Atlas by giving him a calm and dignified passing at home surrounded by his favorite people. From the kind and empathetic staff answering my questions over the phone to Dr. Rose's professional and compassionate bedside manner with Atlas and me alike, everyone at Peaceful Veterinary Care is truly in service of the families they care for. The day of Atlas' passing was beautiful and bright, so we all went out to my backyard where Atlas could feel most comfortable. We were not rushed in our goodbyes or grief, and the entire process was quiet and calm... I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to plan those arrangements for my dearest boy. He deserved nothing less. I will add that I initially chose Peaceful Veterinary Care because I was especially interested in their aquamation services. I knew that I wanted Atlas' ashes, but I also wanted a more environmentally responsible option than traditional cremation. Atlas' remains were ready in one short week, and they even included a beautiful clay paw print and a small collection of fur. The loss of a beloved family pet is profound and devastating. The services offered by Peaceful Veterinary Care honor the sanctity of those deep bonds, allowing space to truly celebrate the life and love shared.
