Mofongo relleno de churrasco! Delicioso!! And the avocado rellenado highly recommend.

Super cute place with bar, patio, and indoor seating. Steps away from the plaza en Ponce. Buffet option till 3 on weekdays. Ordered off the menu and the churrasco mofongo and the stuffed avocado with chicken were both amazing. Friendly staff and great service. Highly recommend. $$$

We stopped for drinks and apps. It was great! The bartender was able to make both delightful alcoholic and non- alcoholic drinks which is imo the true test of a bartender. We had the empanadas and the tostones, both of which were quite yummy. Great place to stop while walking around Ponce.

If you are in Ponce PR. Make sure you visit this place has a cultural heritage and an amazing hospitality and service. Please serve great seafood, chicken, steak, pork and the sauce everything from the local farmers that pretty neat and decent inside the service is amazing. They bring your food as soon as you place your order within a few minutes the very hospital they talk to you very nicely to make sure you get everything you want. The ambience inside is really cool And nice. I would definitely visit this place once again.

The best seafood steakhouse option for choices was this location. Why???? Because the grilled salmon in garlic sauce with tostones & and salad was delicious . A glass of chardonnay was especially delish with the main entree.

Food was delicious! Angelica was attentive just the right amount. Food was delivered at the perfect time. The chicken wings on the sample platter was crispy n crunchy but it needed the sauce to make it flavorful. The little potato balls were great and also the Alcapurrias even though they did not look like in the photo from the menu. We love our mofongo dinners the shrimp was flavorful and well seasoned. The churrasco was tender, juicy and mixed well with the mofongo. Ever thought the restaurant was pretty empty the food was fresh and the atmosphere was nice.

Everything was delicious! Our server was friendly and attentive. Tostones Rellenos con Camarones were delectable. Bifungo (fried plantain y amarillos) y churrasco was a hit, as well as the aguacate con pulpo, pollo y carne frita with the arroz mamposteao were amazing!!! Mojito and piña colada were great, I would bypass the Sangria.

Our first day in PR and our friends brought us here to dine. What a great choice. The waitress was awesome, she knew the menu in and out. For my meal I had the Chuleta Can Can which happens to be my favorite dish. I had it with tostones. The chop was a large size which was cooked perfectly. The Chicharrón unfortunately was not as crispy as I would like but it was still good. My girlfriend had the Mofongo with some cold sauce which she really enjoyed. The next time we visit Pone I can definitely see us visiting again.

Very clean restaurant the food was excellent and very well presented i order the sirloin medium rare with the majado de vianda, fresh and juicy on point..

Courteous service, nice green seating area, facing the city plaza and at the back of the red firefighter museum, I'm surprised this restaurant is not on Yelp! The house special el Tablero is a mountain of smashed plantain stuffed with shrimps, beef cubes, fish, tomato and onions, it's saucy and tasty. Great portion for two to share. Can't imagine I can finish it by myself as it also has waffle fries and steamed vegetables and it's beautifully presented on a wood block. Also tried the bar's pina colada, creamy and not strong in rum. Overall very happy with the meal and drinks but it takes a long time to wait for food to come out.

We were in Maricao and we wanted to have lunch at a Puerto Rican food place and we had been told good things about the Casona de Artemio in Las Marías. The road is a little dangerous but we went there. The food was very good, service excellent (the girls who served us worked very hard). Very reasonable food prices (generally between $15 and $30 per dish) and drinks were affordable too. The only thing that surprised me (negatively) was the exorbitant price of what they call "crème brulé" and that was a Catalan cream (both are very similar, but the consistency of "crème brulé" is less solid than that of the Catalan cream, (I have lived in Paris and Barcelona, and I know the difference well). While the price for other desserts fluctuated between $4 and $5, the price of the crème brulé was $8.50. The cream was good but not extraordinary nor was the portion big (maybe 3 ounces) to justify that price (and the price wasn't explicit on the menu either).

This review is intended for non-locals…read more I have an app on my iPhone to record the noise level and after five visits (their "siete potencias" fish soup is out of this world good) can tell you they keep the music level at an average of 98.3 dB. If you worked at the airport and stood next to a revving jet engine, that would be about 100dB. Not surprisingly, you will need a megaphone to be heard while you are placing your orders. Also, bring some constructions red flags to wave uncontrollably in order for you to get the attention of the servers at no other than the ordering spot on the counter. To say the service is slow would be an understatement. Based on five visits I would estimate there is a 99% probability they will get something wrong with your order. Stray dogs (and chickens) roam the dinning area (I wish it wasn't so), if you need to use the bathrooms there is a 100% probability it hasn't been cleaned on that day and there will not be any paper towel (that is pretty much guaranteed). The trash cans in the dinning area will always be overfilled with trash. You may be tempted to empty their trash cans, in an act of random kindness, in the dumpster adjacent to the restaurant but I will discourage you from getting within 50 feet of that dumpster. The "view" along with the stench will likely have you running to your car and you will not be able to run away fast enough. I saved the best for last. This passed Friday I stopped there, yet again. Why, you may ask? Because I am telling you, their fish soup keeps me coming back to it. The experience was the same as the other four times except this time there was no queue to order (it still took about ten minutes to order) and a "chinchorreo bus" pulled up right behind us with about 50 people! After getting our lunch (for three people) and the mandatory fish soup, I stood there trying to pay for about 15-20 minutes. It did not matter what I did to try to get their attention (and I was right there at the counter), they either ignored me or could not see or hear me, which would not be surprising. And so I did what I had never done in my life: I walked away, got in my car and went home (without paying). I do not recommend you do the same but my frustration level was at the highest it has ever been, mostly because the workers kept ignoring me regardless of what I did to get their attention. I kept waiving my debit card in hand, lunch on the counter and my two daughters behind me asking "what is wrong with them?" Every two minutes or so. Two things will happen now: I will offer to pay for that lunch on the next visit (I am telling you, I am addicted to that darn fish soup!), or they will contact me after reading this review, at which time I will pay them with 100% premium for not doing it when I should have. I still will not leave a tip... In summary, their fish soup is to die for, their service is so bad there isn't a scale to measure it, the music is so loud you should consider it as dangerous to your hearing, you should bring a megaphone to be heard placing your order or asking for the bill, and you will wonder how on earth this place stays in business. And the answer to that last question is, because people like me May complain and warn others about the health hazards of coming to this place, yet we still come back for that darn fish soup...
