The service and interior are great and let me tell ya there is no better feeling than a well air conditioned and circulated room after sweating your a$$ off for hours from the Yucatan humidity. Our meal started off with a collection of bread and a delicious green melon agua fresca. We were then served consomé de pollo (chicken soup), grilled Yucatán chicken with beans and rice, and flan. The assortment of bread didn't look the most fresh so I ended up not trying it. The agua fresca was probably my most favorite part of my meal - exactly what I needed to cool off. The grilled yucatan chicken tasted almost like tandoori! It was a low on salt, but well flavored. The flan's texture wasn't smooth and it was room temperature, so it wasn't something I really enjoyed. The total price with our package deal ended up being 40 pesos - so excellent pricing! The server was very helpful and attentive. I really appreciated another server preparing coffee for me despite being closed!

You could readily spend several hours here, but quite crowded in some areas. I was just passing through as part of exploring Merida -- and definitely worth a visit in my opinion. Also, just a few minutes on foot from several parks/gathering places, and stores/shops and restaurants (all around).

This one focuses heavily on produce and spices, with a smattering of other interesting things ranging from shoe repair to copying keys. It's an eclectic blend frequented almost exclusively by locals, It makes sense as it is noisy and busy and that scares a lot of tourists away. But if you want to experience a true local market, and have a couple hours to just get lost and find yourself, this is the market for you. Definitely worth a visit and if you find the place that copies keys, right near there is a stall that makes some of the freshest juice with the best fruit I've had here. And if you are feeling adventurous you can stop at one of the scores of food stalls and try your luck with the local cuisine. There are far too many to list or even hope to try so its worth its own adventue! Happy eating from John Seeto!

The Merida store is beautiful, housed within a 1903 townhouse. The location has an onsite residency, spa, and cafe, in addition to the perfumery shop! I smelled several of the perfumes from their Mexican collection/line and picked one to take home that I loved, but they offer more than just perfumes - handmade honeys, marmalades, chocolates, home goods, decor, and more! I left with my perfume, a couple of marmalades, and a pink peppercorn honey! The service is wonderful - friendly, patient (I tried just about every perfume from that line), and helpful! Overall, just a wonderful and unique boutique shopping experience in Merida!

The approach from the first floor to the massage room felt like a mysterious walk to an upper tower... Before my massage I was treated with a set of cucumber, cream cheese, rose, & lemongrass tea sandwiches as well as tea which was included in my massage. The masseuse was excellent. Great memorable experience. The young lady at front desk from Los Angeles was super friendly and welcoming.
