Buzio is located in the seaside town of Praia das Maçãs, although the place itself does not overlook the water. Parking is plentiful which is usually an issue in beach towns, especially in the summer.
The restaurant itself is OK, but not worth the 30-minute drive it took me to get there from Estoril. I think there are better options in and around Cascais.
The seafood is good, but for the price, it is too expensive for what it is.
We ordered a seafood dish with Grouper, Mussels, Clams, and Shrimp in a tomato based mélange. On a positive note, the flavor was mainly derived from the tomato and onion based mix on the negative side it was rather bland. Had it been stewing for a few hours the flavors would have infused better. The Grouper still had fatty skin on it (not the scales though) which in my opinion is a culinary shortcoming. read more
