Each is served in this very traditional looking "Stube" with a big fire going in a corner. The fondues come per 2 people and with a gigantic array of sides (from cucumber salad, radishes, lentils, potatoes, fries, bread) to sauces (BBQ, Remoulade (a kind of tartar sauce), cocktail, garlic) salad. If you run out of sides (which I doubt you will) they will bring more. Very nice selection on wines, a VERY attentive and friendly staff. They don't get the full 5 Stars as the fire place had some issues that took a while to get sorted, so we left the place happily fed, slightly toasty but also with a beautiful smokey finish on us and our clothes.

The menu is mostly comprised of fondue with a few other options like beef fondue (which is not really a fondue but more like a hot pot from the description) and vegetarian fondue made with veg broth. Some salads and steak are also on offer for non cheese lovers. The minimum for fondue is 2 ppl so we ordered three different fondues for sharing - Trüffel, Original and Provençal. The truffle was my favourite and also for the rest of the people and the Provençal was the great. The original was a bit bland if you ask me and I would not order it again. You get a basket of toasted bread and pickles to go with the fondue and you can order sides like potatoes, veggies and so on. The pickles were actually quite a nice addition to the fondue and tasted great dipped in the cheese. They offered us a homemade hazelnut schnapps to start our meal and it was delicious. We ended up ordering three more rounds of it ;-) and bought a bottle to take home. The Kaiserschmarrn for dessert was ordinary and I would skip it totally. The service was very friendly and quick to start but to took us ages to pay the bill on the way out. A classic Munich problem, quick to feed you and slow to take your money ;-) I would definitely come back here again. It's a great atmosphere and it was packed the whole time. It was a younger crowd and not too noisy. It's a great place for fondue in this town :-) glad we tried it.
