A very relaxing and peaceful place that's situated next to a monastery. We had the option to sit…read moreinside or outside since it's in June and we opted outside since the weather was great. We had 5 people in our party and decided to order multiple dishes to share. These included their appetizers: housebaked sourdough bread, smoked trout, baked cauliflower, and pink roasted roast beef. Almost all of the dishes were delicious. The trout was fresh and I love how they were all paired with greens and light seasonings so they were all very refreshing. However, the sourdough bread was a surprise but not in a good way. It was a little too dense to my liking and the portion was very small considering it's €6.5. It's almost like one of those small rolls you get on the side when you order soup. For mains, we ordered their grilled chicken, grilled flank steak, grilled romaine lettuce and tomatoes, and their Salmon trout poached in bergamot and lime. I really enjoyed the trout as the fish was moist and tender, flavorful which was paired well and enhanced by the bergamot and lime. I did not really like their grilled dishes as I thought the chicken was dry and overly salty since it was wrapped in a piece of bacon. The beef was dry, tough and hard to chew. We also were able to order a couple of sides and we opted for grilled vegetables which was not very good as the vegetables were overcooked and too tender for my liking. We also ordered a tomato rice which was odd. It's almost like a very soggy broken rice which wasn't seasoned properly as it was very sour. Overall, I think the food was decent and ingredients were fresh even though not everything was well executed. The restaurant itself was spacious and comfortable. They also have a small playground nearby for kids. The service is relatively quick as compared to the rest of the country. It's a great option if you crave a lighter, more veggie focused meal since most of the cuisine in the country is very greasy and carb heavy.
