We ate here because it looked authentic and we were right. There were no other tourists here only locals on their lunch break. We ordered the daily special which is what all the locals were having which was a chicken curry on a bed of rice with canned pears, pineapple and apricots on top. We also had the chicken wings, the ravioli and walisheiteller (dried meats) all of the food was tasty with large portions, the was also a salad bar that was included with the special only. The service was good and friendly, they had no English on the menu so the service translated the entire thing for us. We had the local Cardinal beer which is delicious and had a great experience. Would definitely recommend it if you want the real deal Swiss food experience. The only reason it gets four stars is because the whole place is decorated like a red lobster and there is no seafood anywhere with Switzerland being landlocked an all. read more
