From what I could figure out, it was an ice cream ball with a layer of chocolate gelato and vanilla center covered in cocoa powder. For dessert, we split the Amaretto Sundae made with scoops of amaretto & chocolate gelato and topped with whipped cream, amaretto flavored wafers, amaretto liquor & chocolate shavings. This dessert is decadent but very deliciously so. The wafers became soaked with the amaretto liquor and added a nice texture to the wonderful softness of the gelato. A 5 star dessert.
