He found it to be a bit tough but he really enjoyed the potatoes & salad that came with the meal. The table next to us had pizza which looked amazing and their steak filets also looked quite good they gave all they good rave reviews. We really enjoyed our wine! The bread was good but we did not care for the "spread" that came with it, we found it to be very fishy and unappealing.... stick with the butter! Please check out the photos

We started with Pene e Lardo di Colonnata (Bruscheta with Colonnata Lard) and Terrina di Coniglio Porro e Agridolce (rabbit terrine with leaks and orange bittersweet sauce). Hubby had Pesce del Giorno e Lenticchie (charcoal grilled fish of the day with lentils), which was sea bream. The fish and skin was cooked to a crispy perfection! I asked for a large portion of sautéed spinach and the chef made it for me! We finished it off with a tiramisu. They also have house made pasta dishes that we wished to come back for.

The place is small with 6 tables [we tried to get a table without a reservation on a Friday, made a reservation for Saturday :-) ], the menu has a small number of possibilities for each course, and the portions and pours are small. What is short on quantity is more than made up for on the creative flavors of the dishes. Their bruschetta was not the traditional take. A pumpkin appetizer was excellent, as was the sea bass catch of the day with chick peas. Service was welcoming and helpful. Well worth the visit.

Each dish was seriously top notch! Grateful for the other reviews that justified coming here. Highly recommended! Heads up: - Soup is medium sized and hearty. - Prawns are not fried. Whole prawns in a perfect broth that might require bread. The legs and tail are crazy good (I avoid the head)! - Great coffee too! - The octopus comes with beautifully grilled legs (3-4) that are butter tender. Awesome!

Service was like any other European restaurant. As far as the food comes, it delivered! For bread and butter-my favorite was the orange butter because I wasn't expecting the flavor to come through so well. We started off with the scallops which were cooked to perfection. The prawns in a piri piri sauce had a kick, but nothing overwhelming. I ordered the monkfish and prawn curry-you could taste the coconut. My friend ordered the lamb and that might have been my favorite amongst them. It was so moist and had such good flavor. Almost like a bbq but not so sweet. As far as dessert goes, the creme brûlée was a miss for me. The top lay offered the perfect crack, but underneath it felt too sweet and eggier than most creme brûlées I have had. Now what really sold me was the house dessert. It was so light, fluffy and not overly sweet. The sweet potato fries were so crispy that my friend gave it the highest compliment of saying it didn't need a sauce.
