This is the normal restaurant that is an adjunct to the 2 Michelin starred Nathan Outlaw restaurant at the same location (which we couldn't get into). It has a view over the Camel estuary, and a high standard of mostly seafood cooking. The service is impeccable, and the ambience good. To be honest, it is probably better than the more famous Rick Stein Seafood Restaurant over the water in Padstow. It's certainly as expensive, £156 for two (incl wine and coffee). But the food was sublime. There was a good menu (starters £15ish, mains £20-30), but we had the specials. A starter of wonderful crab in mayo, then turbot with crispy skin. Perfectly cooked, with firm moist flesh. A superb ice cream sandwich for pud, sat on poached summer fruit. For special occasions. read more
