Good steak, poor service seems to be the theme here.
We were seven men around the table, and unsurprisingly, our drinks were first to arrive. Two of us had ordered cola, and that was very disappointing. Not only was the two served colas lukewarm, dispiriting the almost-melted ice cubes in them, it was also almost entirely decarbonated, with only a hint of fizz remaining. And cola with no fizz is a decidedly underwhelming experience. When we complained to the waiter, she protested that she'd definitely just poured said drinks, and the melted ice was caused by a defect ice machine. Whatever the cause, poor service.
All but one ordered an entree. I ordered the salmon symphony, and while good, it was mostly a salad with a little bit of salmon on the side.
The main event, the steaks took somewhere between 60 and 90 minutes after we'd finished the entree to arrive. Considering it was just steaks and potatoes for everyone, this was rather annoying.
However, once the steaks finally arrived, they proved to be pretty good. My T-bone was certainly well-cooked and tasty.
So if you can overlook the poor service, this is a good place to go for a steak. read more
