Honestly, I could've skipped the steak sandwich, but everything else was outstanding. Didn't make it to dessert, but the plates we saw heading to other tables looked good. I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. The greeter stopped by our table, one more time to advise us that the restaurant would be closed tomorrow as a group of 40 Asians rented the place out "because we are so good." His total attitude turned us off. As we left, the restaurant was not even 1/2 full, so I'm not sure why he was put out that we had not made reservations. There are better places to eat in Óbidos.

The restaraunt is cozy and gives you the old traditional Portuguese vibes which you don't see very often anymore and I love that about it. Gives you that grandmother love feeling. I hope they never change this about them. They always have little things for sale at the counter and we never seem to not help ourselves and always bring something home with us.
