This happened some 2 years ago but I just discovered the Google review has been made invisible to other users so posting this elsewhere.
I agreed with the staff member that we could come here with a large group (I told him 8-15 people) next day to play board games, and he said he was fine with it. When we got there the next day, the person running the restaurant told us that we were too many (we were admittedly 17) and they wouldn't serve us, or even let us sit down and that we wouldn't be allowed to play our board games. I tried telling him that not everyone was there to eat and we'd be fine just drinking but he wouldn't change his mind. Utterly bizarre situation, we're literally standing outside with a big group, ready to hand them money as we had agreed, but he wouldn't let us sit down. He kept making a weird excuse of "you're only allowed to play board games owned by the restaurant" (we've previously played board games without issues at this restaurant). In the end we ended up walking a long distance to find another place. I won't be coming back and I doubt anyone else from the group has good things to say about this place either. read more
