I truly enjoy shopping at the Restaurant Depot on 22nd Street but wish they had help in carrying stuff out. I hurt my shoulder and have been on WC ever since. Stupid case of water! LOL! Nonetheless, the cashiers are always helpful, and I enjoy greeting them and wishing them a great day! Lots of customers don't even interact, but I wouldn't want someone coming to my job all grumpy and unapproachable! I shop quarterly for our employee BBQs and truly appreciate the products you have. The last time the cashier helped me open up a pallet of hamburgers which were desperately needed! She even asked if I "need" that many and yes, because I feed 425+ employees! LOL! I was so happy to see that I could order from this location on Instacart. I first noticed a grocery ad on Flipp.com. So last Friday I sent a shopper to your location. Unfortunately, I ordered 16 items, half the items that you listed as "in-stock" where not available in the store, mostly seafood and frozen stuff. The shopper did ask for assistance and someone did help her. The remaining half of my order was delivered, very quality product just as listed and at a good price. I would ask that you update you Instacart to show what you really have in stock, it will make for a better experience. I came here with some friends to help purchase some items for their snack bar. It is a typical warehouse environment, akin to Costco or Sam's Club. It is not open to the public though. It is exclusively caters to licensed business owners. There are a large number of items available here. You can get food, silverware, towels, soap, etc., You name it, they probably have it. The prices are hit and miss. Some items are cheaper at Costco and Sam's Club, so be sure to do some price checks. Other items, like pizza boxes and silverware, cannot be bought anywhere else, which makes this a must stop for restaurant owners. The customer service here is OK. A few people dropped by to ask me if I needed help with anything. I also hear that the forklift drivers are more than willing to obtain items from the shelves when needed. I did however report a spill in one of the aisles, only to return 15 minutes later to find it still there and no wet floor sign. read more

I absolutely avoid shopping here for our business, but it's nearly the only option in case of emergency. Wait time to check out is excruciating most of the time, even if you're the only customer or one of two or three. The employees charged with the final phase of checkout are sullen a lot of the time. AND you'll let the loooongest receipt you'll receive the entire year. In the interest of giving credit where credit is due, their employees are mostly on time ready to work, mostly friendly and pricing is comparable and at times cheaper than similar distributors and wholesalers. The only reason I go here is there isn't another choice for Tucson. Sam's has some similar stuff but not enough. The aisles at this store are ALWAYS crowded with pallets and product that haven't been put on the shelves yet. Also, why not have staff stock shelves overnight or before/after hours? They are always working in the aisles with forklifts while you are trying to shop. Don't get me started on check out lines. Plenty of staff walking around and you're lucky if they will open more than two registers, usually just one, even if there are many people waiting to check out. I've been to both stores in Phoenix and it's the same thing, so I don't get it. The parking lot design at this place is terrible. Yes there is covered parking for shade and yes it's easy to park a car or truck, but this business is designed for restaurant, food truck, food trailer business. Getting a large truck or trailer in and out is difficult, especially when you try to exit onto 22nd street and turn left to get onto the interstate. It's practically impossible. Products available on shelves seems to be hit or miss, especially with popular products like lemonade syrup concentrate. For some reason this store can't figure out how to keep it on the shelves..........they are always out for long periods of time. Doesn't it make sense that if a product is popular and sells out quickly that you buy an oversupply and always have it on back order to arrive regularly? If somebody had the money and sense to open a competing store and do it right you'd easily be a success. read more

Literally just bought a case of BBQ sauce cost $40 with tax, walked out the entrance to unload to my car and realized I got the wrong case went in talked to that lady and told me "no return! Sorry because coronavirus pandemic!" And I told her " You seriously right now? I just bought the case! " she continued " sorry no rerun!" We shop here regularly for two of our stores usually spend $400-1000+ weekly! Never returning back you guys can't do the right things/ piss customers off you will loose a lot of money just over a $40 of sauce! $1000+ weekly plus 2 stores you lost! Really slow service and unreliable staffs. They promised 3 mins to get me the stuffs, they finally took ONE hour to get it. We had to wait at least 15 mins at the checkout. We go there every week, but everything gets worst every single time. We bought two water boilers from them. The first one broke after two months. The second one did not work at all. This place is a consistant nightmare. Absolutely none of their employees have any sense of urgency at all except maybe one guy that works the freezer section and another guy that helps take orders to your car. It will be the day after a holiday, the day before a holiday and they will have one cashier and 12 other people doing that stupid subtotal check not ever thinking "maybe I should open a register and help the 20 people in line instead of counting the 3 items on the cart". Take a lesson from Costco and put one or two people, two would be a miracle at this place, at the front door to check carts and open all of your registers!!!! They are always out of stuff or just do not have items stocked. The only time this place has ever ran efficiently was when the owner, ceo, one of those people were in town for their daughters wedding....the place was stocked, all registers were open...it was like it had been taken over by aliens. But, as soon as the "important" people left it all went to crap again. The only reason this place is open is because it's the only one in Tucson so we don't have a choice but to go there.
