Fabrics That Go is a long time family owned business that was located forever on Campbell Ave. Great selection and workmanship. Apparently they moved to Stone Ave about 19 months ago. So after taking a scenic tour of Tucson I located them in a rather unassuming spot, but it was WELL WORTH IT! I was absolutely overwhelmed by the selection of fabulous upholstery and curtain material available for purchase! So many choices and great quality. The service was excellent (thank you Deb for your invaluable advice and wonderful service). I am very impressed with the ease of the process. And I was also pleased with the price and timing offered. I have started with a small chair which I will deliver to them Monday. They estimate 4 weeks to complete, which is terrific. They do offer pick up and delivery if needed but I will be able to do that myself. Quality furniture at a reasonable price is hard to find. IKEA and Amazon are a cheaper option but if you have quality furniture that is in need of a little love , I highly recommend you take the time and invest in getting it refurbished by experts. Some of our outdoor furniture was severely damaged by a combination of sun and ground squirrels. We had to have seven pieces reupholstered. Bought the fabric and had the work done by Fabrics That Go. It's funny, back in 1998 when my family first moved to Tucson our decorator used them for everything. Fast forward to 2019 when I decided I'd try my hand in reupholstering. I walked into this store for the first time like a deer in the headlights! Literal rooms of fabric bursting at the seems. Thankful the young lady working at the store saw my big wide eyes and swooped in to save me! I would have happily wondered for days if it wasn't for her but I would have come up empty-handed. She took me on a tour I can only describe as Alice in Wonderland. One room for Victorian, others by colors, denims, other areas for outdoor fabrics... on and on! There is a back room with last-call and discounted fabrics all piled together. The way the rooms are laid out seems chaotic and random until she told me what was what. She told me where to look, what was good for my project and to find her when I needed help. She didn't have to walk me through the entire store but I got such a greater appreciation for all the amazingness! This is my go to place for sewing projects. They have literally thousands of fabrics to choose from. Beautiful selection of home decor fabrics and the largest selection of linen fabric I've found in Arizona. The staff is great, too. Very helpful and accommodating. Jean and Buddy are the best!! And the owner, Claire is the sweetest lady you could meet. She's in her 90s I think and still comes in to work. I love supporting a local, family business. The fabric selection is amazing and the staff very helpful. However, I must lower my rating from 4 stars because it has taken them four months to reupholster a chair I brought in. There has been a lack of follow up, which is disappointing. I have had to do the calling to check and see what the deal is. Sigh. My chair arrived on April 1st! I have upgraded my rating from 2 to 4 because the owners have been able to satisfy me. I would go back to them, it's important for a business to correct a mistake if it happens and makes the customer happy. :) read more

The selection of fabrics here is overwhelming. Upon entering and being intimidated, I was greeted by two different staff members at different times to offer help. Their knowledge of the store proved organization that was relatively easy to navigate after I perused around a little bit. Great selection, knowledgeable staff, and comparable price will make this place my go-to for fabrics in the future. My only wish is for more forgiving operating hours, as any person with an 8-5 job would have a difficult time getting here. It's a good place to get lost in during your lunch hour though! read more

I had asked them to cut a fabric for me & was rushed out of the store because they were closing early. I ended up having to come back twice because the manager cut the wrong measurement on my fabric. Fabrics That Go was the first (and last) place I've gone to for fabrics. The staff at this store are very responsive, will help you through any project (DYI), will spend as much time as it takes to get you the perfect solution (hours even). I love the fact that the store owners are always around making sure you are getting the help you need. this is a great fabrics store...soooo much to choose from especially in the upholstery/decorating fabrics. i went in on vacation when i was visiting my family and found the best kitschy cowgirl fabric i have ever seen! it is definitely a go to place for beautiful fabrics but it is also nice to know that the southwestern fabrics they have also have some humor! the family who runs it has been there since i was a kid so it is a great Tucson business! The special offer i was able to use made the price even better! although not all the staff was aware of it they honored it as a true/honest business should! If you are in the market for any fabric, and I mean any, this is the place to go. From cotton to window covering, to upholstery, they have it all. The staff is amazing. The selection here is rather daunting and they will help you through the maze to find just the right item. I went in looking for a few yards for the door/window and left with far more. I worked on the phone with a relative in Seattle who is always on the look out for fabulous finds and sent pictures back and forth. It was hard to narrow it down to a reasonable amount of selections.
