The staff is just fabulous with helping to choose fabrics, deal with quilting challenges, and figure out the right tools. Their classes are phenomenal. Truly great instructors who are experienced and also gentle with all levels of expertise. The teachers are total gems and super heroes - those classes are such a great value and a great place to make new friends! They have a large and active sit and sew. My distributor wanted to charge me $75 per yard for the exact vinyl, these guys had a similar vinyl in stock for $15 a yard. These guys also do a lot of custom work. When I went in there was a lot of patio furniture that needed repairs. They make custom cushions and replace the material on outdoor patio furniture. Definitely recommended and if you can shop local. They have a ton of material in stock and they sell direct to the public.

I decided to check out the store, while waiting for an appointment down the street. I was really surprised they put out fall things and it seemed like a third of the store had been cleared away and recently well stocked with fall colors, pumpkin themed objects for the kitchen and for parties. I don't go they're all that often, but it seemed like there was either Christmas or fall things and anything for the summer was nearly gone. There were 2-3 aisles of picked over summer things on clearance for 66% off and all the fall things that look like they just put it out. It's quite overwhelming every time I go to Hobby Lobby. There is just so much to see. I find myself having a hard time, figuring out where things are and customers line up to check out. I didn't really see any staff walking around the store to help. I did pick up some craft thing items that I think that they carry all the time however, after a few minutes, I just wanted to get out of the store and I skedaddled. It did appear that almost everything in the store was discounted significantly, so nothing was the price on the package. It does make one feel like they're getting a deal.
