The staff is just fabulous with helping to choose fabrics, deal with quilting challenges, and figure out the right tools. Their classes are phenomenal. Truly great instructors who are experienced and also gentle with all levels of expertise. The teachers are total gems and super heroes - those classes are such a great value and a great place to make new friends! They have a large and active sit and sew. It's incredibly welcoming and inclusive. Highly recommend this lovely shop. My distributor wanted to charge me $75 per yard for the exact vinyl, these guys had a similar vinyl in stock for $15 a yard. These guys also do a lot of custom work. When I went in there was a lot of patio furniture that needed repairs. They make custom cushions and replace the material on outdoor patio furniture. Definitely recommended and if you can shop local. They have a ton of material in stock and they sell direct to the public.

When I entered, a group of workers shouted "Welcome in!" toward the entrance, though not to anyone in particular. I came to purchase two yards of fabric for a sewing project. No employee approached me to offer assistance. When I found the fabric section, there were no staff members around except for an elderly woman who was quite rude. She didn't smile, say good morning, or make small talk. When she finished cutting the fabric, she tossed it onto the table rather than handing it to me. She did the same with my receipt, simply tossing it toward the center of the table. These small interactions added up, making me feel unwelcome. I'm left wondering why I shouldn't just buy fabric at Walmart if the customer service and expertise are going to be the same. To make matters worse, the other customers seemed unfriendly as well. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience.
