This place deserves ALL the love. I've been here twice now through Yelp events and cannot recommend them more. The activities are so great- lots of design options and colors. They have fun events for private parties and group classes you can drop in on. They're so much fun and they make it easy to feel like a true artist. The staff is just amazing. They check on you often to make sure you're not left behind and give you tons of recommendations for your artwork. They're all so delightful and make it a great full service experience. They have a little shop inside that sells local and ethical items. The owner supports lots of women owned businesses and animals, there's a story behind each piece. Can't recommend these guys enough whether you want a date night, bachelorette party activity, or private event for your company.

I was given a gift certificate to here for my birthday. After looking at all the exciting projects online decided on a large dog bed. So I called Amber (owner) and made an appointment for last Friday night. Boy did my boyfriend and I have a blast!!!! Amber and her fabulous son Devon greeted us and the vibe was very calm and they were playing great music. It's BYOB but we just brought water but they are next to Whole Foods so it's easy to pick up a bottle of wine and bring it over. Amber had all our dog bed pieces ready and organized. We picked out paint colors, a stain and very cool handles for the sides. Then we started! Everything turned out perfectly!!!! I can't tell you how excited we are with our finished project. We can't wait to go back and create a sign for over our bed and hopefully make a chunky blanket! I highly recommend this place to everyone!!!!

I was introduced to AR Workshop from Yelp and am so glad to have found out of this place. I think it's perfect for so many various events / dates. There are so many projects you can do to let out your creative side. Booking is easy as you plan it out online at the time of scheduling and select your design before booking. We booked a project with the wood and canvas workshop for my mother in law's birthday as a surprise. They had everything set up for us ready to go once we arrived and warmly welcomed us. My mother in law was a bit late but AR workshop was so flexible and patient with us which I greatly appreciated. The owner, Amber, is so sweet, helpful and knowledgeable and all the staff is so helpful and kind. The process is lots of fun for all ages and you can bring your own food and drink's including alcoholic beverages. They also offer lots of cool merchandise from various vendors and I love that they support other local creatives. My husband, kids and I created a board game and a tic tac toe board which came out super cute. My kids have played the game non stop since we completed it which makes my heart so happy. This is a great place for fun quality time and I definitely recommend booking a workshop or event here to create some DIY magic.

2nd marble paint class ; tray with 4 legs

My mom found the shop and we've been sucked in by the different opportunities to create and design here! We just did a wood class, along with making a couple scented candles by Uno Mas. I absolutely love the Marbleized Paint Class!!!

I've enjoyed their cards and stickers especially, they have some great and unique desert themed ones that just make things feel more personalized when sending. They also offer a huge selection of local made products and vendors, from candles to local salts/chocolates/popcorn/treats to hand towels and home goods. I've purchased from Creative Kind and also started frequenting some of the local vendors they carry too because Ive loved their products so much! The staff is always super friendly and welcoming too. So glad this shop is here!

This is my first stop when gift shopping, regardless of the occasion, because there is something great for everyone in this store. I also love that they host pop up markets in the space and invite in other makers. I've discovered some great new products and artists here and always have the best time at workshops (I didn't take pictures, but the cocktail, charcuterie and dried flower arrangement one has been my favorite.) They also offer private events, which I've stumbled upon a few times and always seem lovely. Hilari has the best taste and is always so friendly when I stop in. It's been lovely getting to know her and see this shop grow and thrive over the past few years.

I recently did a "play with clay" class with a girlfriend. It was hosted at the Dodge location in…read morean old bus. The bus is cool! FYI- the bus only holds two guests at a time. It's equipped with two wheels, countertops for the clay, and a small sink for washing. The class is described as an "opportunity to try the potter's wheel with one hour of instruction at our Dodge Studio. It includes 2 hours of Instructed Wheel time and we provide clay, aprons, and tools. You can do this as a fun experience or choose to save pots as a memento. ($5 per piece)." For some constructive feedback- the description or confirmation information should include some further details like recommended attire (which might not be super obvious to everyone), that the 2 hours you pay for also include time for you to clean the bus, like everything- the wheel, water vessels, tools, surfaces, etc. Clay can get messy and we were not aware of the clean up rules until the very end! Informing people in advance is not that hard. Just by including a tidbit about how the co-op operates, their water saving efforts, etc, would set everyone up for clear expectations. For the record, I absolutely agree that a co-op is only as functional as the folks who are partaking in it and I am all for being part of a the full process and respecting it. Neither of us had tried wheel throwing before and it's actually a lot to process and apply in a 2 hour period. Wheel throwing requires lot's of time and patience. Our instructor Eva, demonstrated for about an hour and touched on a bunch of different steps before handing over the wheels to us, and hanging for a bit to guide us through our first attempts. We felt an overall vibe of impatience from our instructor. Questions were met with a tone of "I already told you" or "it's posted on the wall." Another suggestion is to consider hanging some visuals at the front of the bus with the steps in the process. That way, when students are left independently, they can reference them as little reminders, because it's not easy to remember them all at once. We also we very unclear as to whether or not we were limited to the two clay pieces we started the class with, which turns out, we could have pulled more clay from the bag. Again, another opportunity for the co-op and instructors to prep their students/customers for a more seamless experience. How about prep 4 balls per person and see if they even use them all? The clay gets reused anyway. Leaving us there to wonder wasn't ideal. It took several weeks to hear back from them for a pick up notice on our items. We each fired/glazed one. I was prepared to not even get my item after so much time passed. There's room for improvement and it all comes down to information and communication. Would I do this class again? Maybe and perhaps try a different instructor. Overall, if you're looking to try something new and clay is on your mind, I think this is fun option. It was $120 for the class, plus $5 per item we fired and glazed, so not bad.
