White is ok, but we need reds to spark it up. Danish Modern Dining set meets "us".

Well, we have a vintage Kitchen stool that has been it the family for forty years. My wife sat on it as a child. I sat on it talking to her mother when I was in Syracuse to visit. And yes, we shipped it to Arizona. Now it s Time for a rework. We went with A Diner red leather and shiny brass tacks on the back. This will go another decade , at least.

    Rows and rows of fun!

It's funny, back in 1998 when my family first moved to Tucson our decorator used them for everything. Fast forward to 2019 when I decided I'd try my hand in reupholstering. I walked into this store for the first time like a deer in the headlights! Literal rooms of fabric bursting at the seems. Thankful the young lady working at the store saw my big wide eyes and swooped in to save me! I would have happily wondered for days if it wasn't for her but I would have come up empty-handed. She took me on a tour I can only describe as Alice in Wonderland. One room for Victorian, others by colors, denims, other areas for outdoor fabrics... on and on! There is a back room with last-call and discounted fabrics all piled together. The way the rooms are laid out seems chaotic and random until she told me what was what. She told me where to look, what was good for my project and to find her when I needed help. She didn't have to walk me through the entire store but I got such a greater appreciation for all the amazingness! Side note, they also see jewelry and Guatemalan placemats, runners and other colorful presents to go. What a magical place!

I've always wanted to learn how to use a sewing machine, and she lets you bring your own or use one of hers to learn on. She was very helpful and patient with us! I learned a lot and thought the class was really informative. We each left with our own apron that we made in the class, and a better understanding of our machines. I really loved the shop dogs and cat that were there as well! I am excited for my next class! Thank you so much :)

I came into this class pretty much knowing nothing (I had gotten my sewing machine a few months prior and took weeks to get it threaded. When I went to sew the thread bunched up and I gave up!). Shauna was patient with all of our questions and answered thoroughly. I loved the casual feel of the class, I didn't feel pressured to do things perfectly and overall the mood was relaxed. There were four other students in the class and we all laughed together and learned from one another. The classes were once a week for three weeks. We were provided with tools like scissors, pins, bobbins, etc (you can even borrow a sewing machine though it's best to bring your own so you can familiarize yourself with the machine you'll be using outside of class; fabric was not provided). Mondays are "drop in" days where anyone can come in and see - I'm looking forward to checking that out one day! Finished today's class with a beautiful apron that I am SO excited to use. Thanks again for the class, Shauna! Highly recommend this place to anyone learning how to sew or looking to improve their skills.

I have yet to go in & have someone working even half smile. While I am often greeted as we walk in, there is never enthusiasm or happiness behind the greeting, & they are never able to help me find items when I can't. When I entered, a group of workers shouted "Welcome in!" toward the entrance, though not to anyone in particular. I came to purchase two yards of fabric for a sewing project. No employee approached me to offer assistance. When I found the fabric section, there were no staff members around except for an elderly woman who was quite rude. She didn't smile, say good morning, or make small talk. When she finished cutting the fabric, she tossed it onto the table rather than handing it to me. She did the same with my receipt, simply tossing it toward the center of the table. These small interactions added up, making me feel unwelcome. I'm left wondering why I shouldn't just buy fabric at Walmart if the customer service and expertise are going to be the same. To make matters worse, the other customers seemed unfriendly as well. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience.
