I've been dealing with Associated Bag Co. for over 20 years now for my mail order business. I've…read morebought everything that has to do with packing and shipping over that time and with regularity. Never had a problem with any of their products or turn around time but, once, I made a mistake and ordered the wrong product. I called to ask if I could return it and exchange it for the correct one/size and they just told me to keep it and they'd send out my correct product. It kind of confused me but she just said that I had been a great customer for many years, I never asked for anything, and they're just going to send that item out. Wow. I have to admit that I take them for granted too much as they've been so steady with their service for so long but I've wanted to put this review out there for a long time and finally remembered. This is one of those companies that I would categorize as "enlightened". They're better than great in my opinion.

For anyone who shops at Aldi, you know they don't carry every variation of a product, but what they do have is typically high quality. The produce can be hit or miss, but the prices are significantly lower than most grocery stores. The checkout lines can sometimes look long, but the cashiers are like well tuned machines and move items through at an impressive pace. Picked up a few items for dinner. Easy, breezy, and inexpensive.

As pointed out in other reviews, there is some really bad parking going on here, I don't know why so many people find the need to drive vehicles much larger than they can safely drive. Anyone remember when Aldis didn't use scanners and the workers memorized prices and punched in the prices manually all faster than today's cashiers with scanners? I preferred those cashiers.

The cashier accused me of stealing very passive aggressively because I came in with my own tote bag since I'm shopping in multiple places. She asked me if the bag was mine and then asked if I had any more items to purchase in my bag, and then said she hoped I didn't and huffed and got snippy with me as I'm finishing paying for my item. Also hats, gloves and the like. Be prepared to check the merchandise to make sure it's legit. I purchase some mascara and when I arrived home, they were completely broken! I unscrewed and pulled out the top and there were no brushes to even use the stuff! So, again just check your items. I can't really blame BCF for this, they just buy closeouts in bulk. And as long as it's not a lot of effort to return, I guess this will happen given the nature of this business. I'd definitely go back to shop again. Great place for housewarming presents, too! They also have toys and shoes. Really a variety of things to shop for.
