Worst customer service on the planet. The front end manger Tabitha is extremely rude. I go shopping frequently with my elderly mother in law and she and some other really short fat bad built lady "supervisor " were talking really nasty about another coworker right in front of us! They both have no people or customer service skills. I don't see how they are "supervisors" with their negative attitude towards coworkers and customers. I been there a few times and the ladies "supervisors" who work the front are trash plain and simple. I have heard them talking with so much disrespect, it's really ugly on management around. restaurant Depot is a great place. If you have a restaurant a bar any type of cooking business or if you just give food out to people because you can I bought bags from this place to put lunches in to give out to the homeless and it went well. The bags are reasonable very durable and my adventure was very successful. Price is a bit higher at times but it is a tax-free institution for restaurants. You're only gonna pay more when you're buying them for business. read more

The worst Restaurant depot ever visited. Right from the manager, front desk, small ware person all are un cooperative.

They have a lot of basic ingredients but lack on certain things I would expect to find such as bananas and skim milk. Some of the prices are competitive while others are much higher than they should be. They do not have any high end or specialty ingredients. They hardly carry anything I need for my food business. The employees are completely useless if you are looking for something specific. I asked two where a certain item was and they couldn't be bothered to help me find it. read more

I went to pick up some items and their was a small issue with payment. The cashier was nice and was understanding while getting everything fixed but the managers talk to you like they are prison wardens or something. While explaining everything to the cashier, one of the managers walked up yelling "Where's your receipt?!", did not even ask what was going on first. No customer service at all. It's like there is no customer service training. The cashier literally said "aw shit" to me when she saw that I had 2 carts a total of 39 items. I spent $2000 here today and they were upset that I was buying too many things from their store. They have about 4 women cashiers in the front of that all have been very rude to me and to other customers. I am tired of their attitude and bad service and I am not there to bother them or make them work harder like ring up an extra 5 items. Doesn't say hello did you find everything ok? Or said thank you come back again. Where does she think her raise is going to come from? How many customers like me who spend over $5000 per week can they afford to lose? I am very frustrated at how rude to your face their cashiers and some personnel are. I love this place. All you need is sales tax number for your business and you too can buy groceries in bulk. 6 Pineapples for 10.95? YES! Any kind of fresh herb or root vegetable. If you are a big juicing family like we are it's worth it too buy a big HUGE bag of carrots, a box of cucumbers, a box of green apples etc. They have everything you could need to start your own catering business or stock your bar business(bar gear not alcohol) I prefer this place over costco because there are no membership fee's either! You can find almost everything you need for your restaurant here. The store is clean and big. Staffs are nice and funny. The prices are cheaper than other stores. The good time to come here is as early as morning in order to avoid crowd people at checkout. read more

I won't be coming back. The Richardson branch is so much better. First, it's smaller than the Richardson one so it makes everything so right. Second, the checkout person, Tabitha, was just not up to customer service standards. I don't ask for a lot, but I do ask for a "hey, how are you doing." She said, "come on Momma." I don't think it's good customer service to call people pet names. She also complained about the customer who she had just had, expecting my sympathy when he really didn't do anything but ask for a price check. I'm sure y'all get that all the time and it can be frustrating, but do NOT complain about a customer to another customer, that's bad service. Also she took her time to begin, she was watching another customer for a few seconds before she actually started ringing up. Maybe she was having an off day, but needless to say, I'll still give Restaurant Depot my business, just not this location. read more
