We went there two weeks ago for our anniversary.
We started with a local champagne which was surprisingly fruity and delicious. The amuse-bouche was a grilled scallop over lentil-salad. As starter I had the duck-liver Terrine, which was very nice, especially with the Plum-Chutney. I then had some fish from the daily menu, but as I am personally not a big fan of all those modern alternative grain forms, I would't take this again because of the side dish (unfortunately I didn't see this quinoa-like-rice in the menu), but the fish in a light safran sauce was very tasty, meaty and juicy - it was great. For desert we shared the Chocolate canache and we both loved it and were happy we didn't order one each. My partner had an autumn salad as starter that he recommended very much, the only downside was that his deer-steak was a bit too dry as a bit overdone.
For a special occasion is this place now in our personal top5 list, as it is very stylish but also not distracting from the food, just very suptle decorated, and the service was perfect. I think, despite being quite quite expensive, it was worth the money and we had a great evening. read more
