Is located down by the Labe river past the Panny Maria Catholic catherderal the way to the old Jewish cemetery. There is plenty of street parking and lots of places to park your bikes during the summer bike touring season to enjoy lunches on the patio.
The inside is light and airy adorned by multiple light house figures and pictures after Majak's namesake. The dining room can fit a long row of tables if you plan on having a large group but call ahead since Majak is a very popular restaurant in roudnice.
The menu is sorta on the long side and I would say is more continental than anything else. There are items like pizza to šopsky salad to pan fried fish with couscous with some of the Czech Favorites sprinkled in.
There is a definite theme to the menu as it is listed by meat, and each meat has a different prperperations, but as you go down the listek you will notice you can get beef, chicken, and pork done the same way. Portions are on the bigger side so bring your appetite.
Service is adequate but I have always been here when could have used an extra waiter.
I always end up going here so I will give Majak 4 stars. read more
