What to do for dinner?…read more Of course walk across the bridge to this highly rated place to sit outside under cover, sip a beer, enjoy the river view, and eat pizza. I was raised in New York City and know good pizza. Tonight's pie was pretty darn good. From what I saw at other tables I'd guess that the menu food is also good. Also note that money goes a long way in poland.

What I like about it is the service - everything was really smooth and even with house almost full, you didn't have to wait long hours. As the place is famous for pizza I decided to take one - since I wanted to try 2 different types I had to take big one - 30cm, which really made me feel full and it was hardly possible to eat it - even before I was starving - no lunch on that day. I decided to take half Pizza Szefa 1 and half Carpaccio. Most of the ingredients were cold put on pizza after taking out from the oven and to be honest this is not my style and I it really killed the taste for me. Moreover the egg was cooked and altogether I felt more like I'm eating a salad on warm dough or sth like that but for sure not that I'm eating pizza. Even though dough itself and tomato sauce were ok. To sum up - place was crowded so seems popular, quality of ingredients ok but I suggest checking what will be baked together and what will come cold on top of your pizza, before ordering your meal.

We had a great meal which included various types of pierogi, as well as beetroot soup and hunters stew. There are plenty of other hearty choices on the menu, all at reasonable prices. The decor is fascinating with lots of interesting stuff to look at in a cottage that is reminiscent of a log cabin. We would certainly eat here again.

One of the shopkeepers in a ceramic shop recommended us to try this place as we were wanting to have some lunch during our pottery shopping in this town. It was a little hard to find since she didn't speak too much English, but we were very glad we did. Food offerings were somewhat limited to local favorites and pizzas, but I thought quality was very good. It was very reasonable for we ate well for only about $9.00 equivalent for two. Goulash soup was only about $3.50, and it filled me up with a complimentary Kaiser bun. Regulars were returning dishes to a little window after they ate, so we followed the suit and returned our dishes to the kitchen window. After enjoyed our lunch here, we were energized, and we went on our merry way and continued our pottery shopping.
