I came across this review and completely forgot I wrote this ridiculous 5-star review since they asked us to on the last day of the seminar. I don't even know if this company still exist since they've been sued. I need to find a way to be a part of that lawsuit!! I feel it's my responsibility to warn you all in case this company is still at it. A complete scam! They're a bunch of phony salesperson. Complete scum for ripping thousands of people off. A giant enormous waste of money. They all talk a big talk offering all the bells and whistles with backing NONE of it at all. Once you leave the seminar, you realize how difficult it is to communicate with them and all the other services they throw at you. It's a scam. Look. I have a lot to say, but I'm just going to start by sharing their own disclosure - from their actual website - below: "We do not sell a business opportunity, "get rich quick" program, or money-making system. We believe, with education, individuals can be better prepared to make investment decisions, but we do not guarantee success in investing. We do not make earnings claims, efforts claims, return on investment claims, or claims that our training will make you any money. We are not a real estate expert or investment expert, and it is highly recommended that you consult with appropriate licensed experts before engaging in investing-related transactions. We are an educational company that provides training concerning the real estate industry. However, it is assumed that most customers do not apply the needed effort and time, or do not acquire the skills, to complete transactions successfully and, therefore, most clients do not make money." With that out of the way, I'll describe my experience. My mom reached out to me asking if I wanted to join her for a 3-day real estate class. She's my mom, and I wanted to support her, so of course I took the few days off work and joined. I was actually excited. I thought I might learn something, or at least be inspired to try something new. But it quickly became apparent that this was not a class. It was a 3-day sales pitch. I knew something was up when I couldn't find a brand name anywhere on their material. But fortunately, the speaker told us the brand name, Response, toward the end of the day. And as soon as I got home, I looked them up. And when I looked them up, I saw some truly disgusting things. For all of the reviews on this site to be 1-star or 5-star, I knew something was up. Response clearly invests heavily in monitoring sites like these to respond to any negative commentary with things like "students must take action" and "this isn't for everyone". And they invest heavily in making sure the reviews on here are positive - real or not. The 1-star reviews are spot on. Back to the class. The speaker shared some helpful information, but all of that information was blanketed on either side with a sales pitch to sign up for more training or join their "diamond elite club" They use high pressure sales tactics and works like "urgency" and "decision" to get you to make an uninformed decision on the spot without doing any research into their company. And what truly made me sad was that it works. Most of the students (at least in my class) were a little older, and certainly didn't seem like the type to look into a company like this online. So they legit don't know any better and ultimately end up spending money they probably don't have. And in the case of someone like me and my mom? Someone who says "no"? they totally dismiss you. If they realize they can't sell you on the "advanced training" then they're done with you. We didn't get a 1-on-1 we were promised because we didn't want to buy the additional training. But I mean...didn't we still pay for the 3-day workshop that includes a 1-on-1 session? I wish I could spread this word to the people taking this class that won't read these reviews. Because honestly, what this company does, they should be ashamed of themselves. A few highlights: - Day 1 they have you fill out a sheet with your financial info. They tell you it's to figure out how you can do GAP funding, but it's really just so they can see if you can afford the additional training - They also have you sign up for CreditNav so they can check your credit. Again, under the guise of "building your plan". They didn't tell any of the students that they'd be signed up for a $30/month payment after 7 days. And if I didn't read the fine print on the site, I certainly wouldn't have known. - Again, because this is important, THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT REAL ESTATE EXPERTS. THEY ARE SALESPEOPLE. - They don't allow recordings or photos. Makes sense as it's a class that people are paying for, but their reaction to a person taking a photo of notes in my session was outrageous. They yelled at her (a grown woman) and told her to turn her phone off. - At one point, they show reviews on their website. I went to the website outside of class - you can't click on any of the reviews. And you can't even leave your own review (???) I think that's all I got. Oh, and they'll certainly respond to this because they have a social team dedicated to keeping their reputation good online. I mean, at the end of the day, I didn't buy anything and my mom didn't buy anything. We just wasted 3 days of our lives. read more

Scam! Please be aware of this company and their sales tactics. They over promise and under deliver in every aspect of their business model. They misrepresent and overpromise many things that they do not actually deliver. First, they get you in by using a celebrity endorser (which has no relevance to what they are teaching). Then they charge you up to $1000 dollars for a 3 day workshop where they teach you methods that excite you in order for them to sell you on their 25k-30k workshop. Then they try to up charge you even further for more money for one on one training. If you don't do this you will not be able to close any deals. Their methods are dated. Go ask any legitimate real estate agent. Their goal is to sell you over priced training methods. Please be aware of their "positive" reviews don't actually reflect anyone closing a deal or making any money. They are just EXCITED PEOPLE who haven't closed a deal. Do your due diligence about this company. I signed up for training in trading stock options. And have been very pleased with the program. While I am quite familiar with options, trading them to make money is a new consideration. I recently attended the Elite Retreat in Utah, and met member of the training team, including Cameron States. Cam is one if the key folks doing the online training either recorded or live in webinar formats. His insights and communication approach was very helpful toward learning the ropes. He is a patient, focused, individual with solid lessons to share. I really appreciated his ideas, trading approaches, and consistent humor to help make his points understood. I went to the free meeting in February 2016. Yes they did then offer a 3 day paid training. Let's be honest, the instructor was very upfront with the fact that there was more training and it would cost. I think to many people are motivated by greed and expect everything for nothing. I did pay for the 3 day training and in less than 30 days I did my first deal. Yes at the 3 day class they offered the Boots on the Ground training for $25K. Yes they are high pressure sales, but no one twists your arm. My experience was positive and I got a lot out of it. In my first year I did 5 deals (and copies of my HUD1's) are on file with Response. At the training the instructors were very upfront about the number of attempts it takes to do a quick flip. The numbers i was told was 50:1 up to 75:1. Yes quick flip deals are difficult, but for people with no cash for investing, it is a starting point. It does take a lot of work and i think most people are not willing to put in the work required to be successful. I have done very well and got a great return on my investment in the education. Look this is not for everyone. You have to be committed to sucuss and be willing to put in the effort. I think to many people throw in the towel after getting a dozen rejections while working quick flip deal. You must be persistent and put in the work. I would be curious to find out how many offers to investors, the people on here put out before quitting. read more

I don't know how the training runs today, but I took the training in 2014, signed up for the 3-day class, took that, signed up for advanced training and took that. Received in-depth training and dozens of contacts across the industry. Yes, it was very expensive. However, I was retired, and had access to my 401K. Using the mentor, contacts, Proptrend software, and training, I created a self-directed IRA, investigated and bought properties outright (some from BuyPD), invested in two flips with others, and am now the owner of 10 rental properties and 4 pieces of land (had 5 and sold one at a profit). It was bumpy at first, but I was able to straighten out the property management and renters over time. I use the income to supplement retirement, and to buy an additional rental property. Four of the properties are worth 50% more than when I bought them! I believe that if I had financed the properties with a private loan or credit cards, I would not nearly have been as successful. In short, I have made back far more than the training cost. read more

So once they get you in the door they sell you a 1000 training class. It's ok but during that course they sell you a very expense course that is fool proof. Then when you tell them you can't afford that, they con you into applying for credit cards to pay for it because they will be paid off before the first payment is due. So you go into credit card debt that you can't afford and u take the course that is mostly tricks and ways to navigate the investment world but don't mention that what they teach is pointless and won't work in an over saturated area. So you spend the better part of a year trying non stop to apply what u have learned only to realize it don't work and now your very in debt with nothing to show for it. Just don't. If you want to learn about real estate investing, find a local real estate investor - someone actually doing investing. And see if they'll work with you and split profits in trade for education. This is the smart way to do it. Response will just pressure you and make you feel like an idiot if you don't invest tons of money you don't have to learn stuff that doesn't work in the real investing world. I can also say that they used celebrity names to gain attention (in our case it was Dean Graziosi and Tony Robbins) and those people really were not affiliated at all with this company. Their customer service team is nice but their business and what they teach and all of that is not worth the investment. Find a local investor or REI club and learn that way. read more

NO DIVERSITY WHATEVER IN INTERACTIVE TRADER. NO EQ IN ITS ORGANIZATIONAL landscape. Speaks volumes LOUD. I REGRET JOINING INTERACTIVE TRADER. Interactive Trader double speaks and outright lies to achieve bottom line consummate the sale. Interactive Trader lies by omission too. This is unethical company. Further, Interactive Trader play favorites, is filled with cliques, and is ONLY for rich people -- all are distracting, disruptive and impedes learning. If you're not all three listed above, you're overlooked and treated like an outcast. Case in point, after I made my credit card payment to purchase the program, Corporate ignored all my calls after. That's what made me lose my momentum. I called to get my tuition back. One year of calling, just being ignored by all men in Corporate. Just because you're an expert doesn't match teaching to others. This course is not conducive to TOTAL TYROS. And to exacerbate, everybody is dumped in one pot to train. I DID HAVE PASSION TO LEARN ABOUT STOCK- AND OPTIONS TRADING, but Interactive Trader is not suited to me. This company's training is geared more to experienced traders. INTERACTIVE TRADER OVER-PROMOTES, OVER-PROMISES AND SEVERELY UNDERDELIVERS, DOES NOT DELIVER. I REGRET JOINING INTERACTIVE TRADER. All Interactive Trader's seminars are free-for-alls and unstructured. Not level. Everyone does not have a voice. And the training seminars are too advanced. Again, everybody is thrown together in one room for training. Meaning, Advanced, Intermediate, and tyros. So no wonder the trainings are ineffective and add nothing to knowledge base. Then the online trainings by Rance Masheck. Rance Masheck talks at the speed of light and is very ineffective as a result. He covers way too much information in one session and is not a teacher. He has expertise but not instructor material. I get NOTHING from his online trainings because he talks way too fast. And is way too technical and advanced in his presentations. He makes his trainings all about him, not students. A personality -- I have to cover all my material, at the expense of learning. I have ABSOLUTELY NO CONFIDENCE IN INTERACTIVE TRADER AND NO MOTIVATION TO FOLLOW INTERACTIVE TRADER. And YOU DON'T MATTER TO Interactive AFTER CREDIT CARD PAYMENT IS PROCESSED. And Interactive Trader didn't bother to tell me before I paid for the program, that after one year, it charges $29/month for access to the platform. ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS. You pay $20-, $30,000 for program and then have to pay a monthly amount after a year? REPREHENSIBLE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND INTERACTIVE TRADER. AND I WANT MY MONEY BACK, INTERACTIVE TRADER. I went to this event with Kevin O'Leary, as the guest speaker. Don't waste your time, he talks for about 20 minutes. But that's not what this review is about. This review is about response. We signed up for both the real estate and stock class. As many other bad reviews stated, we were promised a lot of things that were not given. As someone younger, trying to make a life for myself, I think wasting a whole weekend for nothing but a sales pitch is unfair and a complete waste of 1K. I would really appreciate my money back, but this company only cares about taking that away from you. To the point where I've gotten multiple charges on my bank statement that I was never informed of. So let's start off with the real estate class. I walked in and it was a room full of wide-eyed excited people looking to change their life. And response really takes that and twists it. They talk to you so much about making the next move and setting things in motion and not continuing on the same life Journey that you're on now, but instead looking to a brighter future. All so that they can then tell you on day 3 to sign up for a $30,000 class. Isn't that funny? They said that they would have one-on-one meetings with us, so that they could talk to us about the next steps that they think would work best for us and our financial situation. But what they really meant was that they would sell us their extended class and that's all that they did with that meeting time. So if you're looking to the 3 day class in hopes that that one-on-one meeting will help you, it won't. Initially, we did sign up for the extended education. And even put some money down that we saved up. We later needed to cancel and messaged the event coordinator, jon. Who never got back to us, when reaching out again, all they said was ask the other guy, Jake. So we message the other guy, and they never got back to us (ever). So that whole "we will be on your side and supporting you and helping you"was just a bunch of talk. Anyway, we then had to message response themselves since the people that said there were there for us weren't. And the lady on the phone had the nerve to tell me they had a 3-day cancellation policy. After a quick argument on the phone, she said if we sent over the texts as proof, then we could get our down payment that we put on the class. So in case you are looking to sign up for any of their classes, just keep in mind that there is only a three day refund policy. Once we were told we could get our refund back, I asked if the software that they offer would also be canceled or if that was a different process. The lady said that she wasn't sure and someone would follow up with me. Lo and behold , nobody ever got back to me and when I checked my bank statements, there was the monthly subscription charge. I sent a message to them asking for it to be canceled and telling them the situation, they never bothered to get back to me. Another interesting thing that happened, they ask you if you want to get an LLC created with their partnered company. They say it's part of the package , but it's actually an additional 450 bucks. That they don't mention. I've opened up an LLC before, and did it for about 125. The speaker at the initial event mentioned that if we made a sale at the class and they would help us with that, that we would get refunded for the price of the initial class which was 1K. They mentioned that the only reason they even priced it so much was to make sure the only very interested parties could go and they would not waste their time with no shows. There's so many things wrong with everything I just said. The refund only applies if you make a sale within the first 6 months. But they did nothing to help us during the three-day class which is what was initially told to us. Maybe all of the sales speakers should get their info together before misinforming us. It feels that they only wanted people that could afford 1K on the spot so that they could later sell them for 30k. This whole situation seemed more like an extremely thought plan against hopeful people. From the extremely expensive classes to the scare tactic of giving limited-time offers, to the having Financial people there onsite to help you sign up for multiple credit cards just to pay for it, to the 3-day refund plan and all the additional extra payments, to even having the first lesson on their platform be about risk management, they have set everything up perfectly for people to fall into their trap, and have done everything they could to protect themselves. I guess we can move on to the stocks class. Again it was informative, about the basics. Our instructor even went as far to tell us about the things he couldn't talk to us about until we signed up for the classes. We went there hopefully yet again, thinking it was a smaller organization and more personal. But as the first and second day went on, it seems like exactly the same as the first time. I attended the free workshop at the end of June 2019 and the instructor was very encouraging so I signed up for the training and paid $15K. After an unsuccessful month, they offered me again a 1 on 1 mentorship and was charged another $22K. This is my third month now in the program and still working on finding my first deal. They are very supportive and can easily be reached by a phone call during their office hours. I'm following the system they are teaching us and hopefully my time to reach my goal is right around the corner. When it happens, I will surely post another review. read more

They told us we would be trained on a wholesale and flipping houses and be granted with a guaranteed business opportunity - those promises haven´t been honored and a bigger package to achieve this goals were presented to us for a high price of $28.997 - again under marketing pushing tactics. We went to a free Real Estate class on Wednesday, December 12, at the Holiday Inn in Round Rock, TX hosted by Snap Flip. In that free class, they sold us a 3-day class which promised to teach us how to do Snap Flipping with: access and knowledge of their Deal Desk program, access to $1 million in financing per home you flip, and a year of customer phone service to assist you in your new real estate investing venture. We attended this 3-day class from January 4-6 which cost us $1497.00. We were promised that by the end of that class we would be taught how to close a "deal" on a piece of property and if we did it in 6 months, we would receive our tuition back. Red flags started going up immediately when we arrived on day one and on our desks were sheets of information for the training they ACTUALLY wanted you to take at a cost of anywhere from $26- $38k! The first day proceeded with high pressure sales centered on fear tactics to get you to buy into this additional training with a few crumbs of actual investing advice peppered in. Most of this advice had to do with software you would only get access to IF you purchased the additional training. The main speaker, Bryan, was completely condescending and literally said that he would accept skepticism on day one, but by day 2 and 3 everyone needed to be "on board". They had the gaul to call it "Transformation Day." It was kind of unbelievable and certainly aggressive. It took us until day 2 to come to realize that the company that was actually holding the event wasn't even called Snap Flip, but rather Response Marketing Group (not an education company, but a marketing group). It was sketchy because they didn't proudly announce their company name or even have their logo on the materials they gave to us. They kind of sneaked this information in and all of the employees actually seemed reluctant to admit they had any real employment with Response. They referred to Response as "they" and "this company." Then they began to trickle in all of these other companies we should use as resources and, what do you know, they were all from Utah and connected. Though they didn't specify their connections to these other companies, it became apparent that they were working together in some bizarre network that was being pushed on us. Did I mention that they lured the crowd in initially to the free class by advertising it as an event put on by Drew and Danny from HGTV's Renovate to Rent show?!? Needless to say, Response's "training" event had nothing at all to do with those two or their show. It was completely FALSE ADVERTISING! The people leading the class continued to tell everyone in the room how ill-informed we would be if we attempted to go out and try real estate investing without THEIR training. They told us we would be failures if we did not take the next training step with THEM. We reached the third day and still no talk about Deal Desk and how to work it or the other specifics of the year of phone support and how to go about getting that $1 million per property financing - you know, the things we were promised from the free event we attended? Finally, as they were literally shoving people out the door who didn't further buy into their scam, they spit out the details on Deal Desk (but not how to work it) and the phone support in about 2 minutes flat. It was one of the most slimy experiences we have ever had. Response was not at all transparent and completely predatory. We want our money back in-full for the blatant misrepresentation and the training we didn't receive. read more

Complete scam! I paid $997 for a three-day real estate investor seminar. What I received was a two-day (I did not bother going back for day 3) hard sell infomercial. On day one, you fill out a "information sheet" with all your financial information. Bank account amounts, IRA, 401K, Life Insurance, Credit card limits etc. Then you are told to log into the website provided by the team to "monitor your credit" and to give you your credit scores. They even provided laptop computers for you to enter all of your personal identifiable information. (Nothing unsettling about that, right??) I was told that "it might be a problem" when I provided my three scores obtained through my own credit means. I would not qualify for some special $100,000 line of credit was what they told me. The "Money Movement Strategy" that was taught on day one was: "Max out one line of credit (Visa Card) and before the interest gets charged, pay it with another line of credit (Master Card)." This was their plan to fund a real estate deal without using your personal money. Oh, the kicker was when the instructor, Brian, said that he keeps all those "0% cash advance checks" you get from credit cards and uses them as well. The day progressed and small points of interesting facts were given, but just enough to peak interest. In order to get all the information, you need to buy another package that ranges from $20,000 up to $38,000. There was an even more expensive package but Brian would not tell us the cost because "we were not at that level yet". The class was promised a "Free 30-minute consultation" with one of the experts on day two. I sat down and Mike asked me my goals. I said that I want to learn more about flipping houses, but I was not interested in maxing my credit cards. His response was that I have a "consumer attitude" and need to think like an investor. During the class, Brian told us about "Wholesale Flipping". This is where I would buy a property for cash for $70,000. On closing day, I sell it to another cash buyer for $90,000. I asked Mike during my consultation, "How is this not shady? What happens when the person buying the property from me sees that I marked up the price $20,000? You can access this information in the public records." The answer given to me was "That could take months, you have more buyers", or "You could always tell them ahead of time, and they don't have to buy it." Then about five minutes into my thirty-minute consultation, Mike asked which training package I was interested in (19k, 25k or 38k)? Instead of answering, I asked him if I have access to the website Brian was using in class. It showed every cash sale per zip code, ran the numbers on sales and printed out reports for each property and a lot of other useful functions. It turned out that I do have access, if I buy into a package mentioned above. Or pay $5,000 to buy the software, and then $200 a year subscription. When I said I do not have $38k to buy more training, he pointed to my information sheet and said to put it on credit cards. Mike then ended my consultation after 10 minutes. I found it interesting that Brian tried to justify bad internet reviews by writing them off as competitors. He also said to have two LLCs, one with your name (Ima Scam Real Estate LLC) and the other with no connection to you "so you can't be found or connected to the business". That got me looking for the company name of the group leading the class. The only mention of the name was in a disclaimer in a brochure. Once, in all the paperwork and brochures was the name "Response" mentioned. So, I searched on BBB.com for Response.... what I found was about ten other LLC names for them. I told the operator that I never allowed to share my phone number with them, -my tone was very polite by the way-. The operator said "well... you must have singed up and filled out the form otherwise we wouldn't have called you!!!" and then she hung up on me!! which made me decide to write a review on yelp... THIS IS A SCAM! I responded to an ad on Facebook, The ad said, The Kevin O'Leary Event. So I showed up and they were like, Well, Kevin isn't actually here. So it was a bait and switch to start out with. Which annoyed me but I had drove awhile to get there so I thought I would hear them out. They said that for $997.00 they would give us a list of lenders to borrow money from to flip houses. And they would Teach us the process and the paperwork on how to do this. They had a very convincing speaker and they made it sound like they had helped a lot of people. So I paid the $997.00 to take the Real estate class and a friend and I split the $197.00 for the stock market class. They were supposed to call us on the following Monday to give us access to the stock market company and classes. Well, they never called. Shocker. So I just cancelled the charge on my credit card and it was refunded last night. So Friday June 28, 2019. I show up to the first day of the three day class. It started out okay. They were working really hard to get us pumped up. But I starting noticing a few red flags. Any time the speaker would ask us IF WE COULD AFFORD SOMETHING, He would look at the employees that were behind us and make sure they were paying attention and documenting what we all had raised our hands to what we could afford. He was actually getting annoyed if we didn't raise our hands because they could not collect their data of how much they could scam all of us OUT OF. Then he tells us to direct our attention to the remaining fees for the REST OF THE TRAINING. The fees were $24,000.00. So that confirmed this was a BAIT AND SWITCH COMPANY! They also said that the second day was the most important to show up for. Because that is when they scammed you into paying as much money as they could possibly get out of you! So a few hours go by on the first day of class and he tells us that we were going to break off into groups with one of his employees. So I got Kellie Clarke a.k.a master manipulator. She told us we were to fill out two pieces of paper. One piece of paper was for CreditNAV.Com. She told use to put in all of our information and it would ONLY be one dollar to do this. The other sheet of paper was a financial sheet. She wanted us to list every single dollar that we had in our bank account, savings accout, Roth IRA, 401K, what credit cards we had and how much our limits were, how much equity we had in our homes, any life insurance money, EVERYTHING. So she said we needed to have these two things done BEFORE class started. LOL. So I went to lunch with my friend and refused to do either one of those things. When I returned to lunch she sought me out because I didn't come up to her and REPORT every dollar that I had to my name. So I just quickly made up a few things and showed it to her. She was instantly annoyed. She knew that I was onto her game. I also looked at a piece of paper she was writing on. She was marking down by all of our names what he could afford to pay. So she could determine how much money she could get out of all of us. So she was annoyed after looking at my paper. Then she asked me if I filled out the credit application. I had told her no. I knew my credit score and it was good. Then she looked at me and got red in the face and told me to fill it out anyways. I walked back down and sat down. This caught my interest. So I googled CreditNav complaints. And guess what, all these people that attended this real estate events around the country were not ONLY locked into a contract and paying 29.99 a month that was going into Response Marking Company's pocket, BUT response was SELLING THEIR PERSONAL INFORMATION. So then I had confirmed that this event was a Scam. Then I googled RESPONSE MARKETING COMPLAINTS and read about how so many people had been scammed across the country. Some people had to file BANKRUPTCY because of these scammers! So after I read all of that I picked up my stuff and started to walk out. Well, Ms. Kellie Clarke damn near broke her neck to chase me out of the room. She asked me if I was leaving, I said yes. She said well, let me give you your homework. I said Nope, I am going to make a phone call. And I left. The next day I actually called the number that is supposed to be their CUSTOMER SERVICE phone number. And a guy was literally getting out of bed if that tells you anything. So I cancelled the charges on my credit card and I emailed Kellie Clarke and demanded that she refund my credit card. She never responded. So I didn't go to the class on Saturday. Sunday,I showed up right at 9 a.m. for the last day of class. I went up to a few gentleman and I asked them what happened yesterday. They said they paid them more money. I asked, how much?They said, six grand. I told everyone it was a scam. A response employee came up and starting nudging me to the door. And Kellie and the Blonde were making rude comments, Like I was fake and I couldn't afford them. LMAO. They are SCAMMERS. STAY AWAY!!!!! read more

Scott Yancey Seminar I attended the "free.preview" 3+ hour seminar. It was located in a nice hotel in downtown. The room was packed with approx 80-100 people. The speaker was very well trained to "sell", which I expected, but I was still interested in the information. IMO, he sold a LOT of PROMISES that they can show you, if you choose to pay more money. He MENTIONED the different ways to make money selling real estate, wholesale flipping (which is questionable in my market), fix/flip, buy hold, rentals. He MENTIONED on the slide how they fund you for the deals, and mentioned that their qualifying criteria for it did not matter about income or credit. He MENTIONED that they will show you how to set-up an LLC for your business, and how to write contracts with exit clause strategies, in case your buyer backs out. He mentioned that they work with a network of investors. .. He also MENTIONED that in order to know ALL of this, the next step was to pay $997 today, $1147 if you need payment arrangements this (was not mentioned) with the option of your money back, via tuition reimbursement, if you close 1 deal within 6 months....I paid for the training, and then I spoke with the "speaker" personally, and asked specific questions about the training and the program (specifically investor funding requirements)-I asked if there is any upselling during the training, to which he quickly said "no", then adjusted his answer and said "well they do have "other things" during the training, but only if you want to learn it, otherwise you don't have to". I found out later that this "other things" is a $19K--$30K additional training package to receive access to ALL the details and the real estate tools that they introduced in the seminar (outside of wholesale flipping). They also didn't mention that you were signing up for a 45 day trial of their core desktop software program that conducts property search evaluations @ $25 month. During the free trial, you can only search 3 property's. I cancelled that also. FYI, I reviewed and accessed the training material that we were provided for the 3 day training course, although I did not attend, and it was very rudimentary information. Do your due diligence and homework. I asked for a received a refund prior to my 3 day contract expiration date. For what it's worth, I am also a Trump University graduate, so fool me once..you know the saying. read more

I have been taken for a ride first time in my life. They use very clever tactics. They use big names like Kevin to lure people in and once you listen to first pitch you have to pay $1000 for second. Once you in workshop they tell you about second tier which is 30k. They don't offer any concrete information and they do not really show you anything in first tier which is the class you pay $1000 for. When you ask questions they dance around and will not give any answers unless you pay $30 k and than you get info and instruction, however there is a problem with that because that's what they say in first workshop as well. Honestly, it is true what they say, if something is too good to be true , than it is. It was a waste of my money. It isn't worth it. It is really said people do it. read more

Response is a scam with excellent skills in sales or better said, the art of manipulation, embellishment, and scamming people. The ultimate in bait and switch. They do not deliver on their promises and later tell you they did not make such promises. They lie! It starts with a free book (the most expensive book in my library) and seminar. They convince you that they can teach you how to make thousands from the comfort of your own home (not true!) via their software that includes a monthly fee but first you have to pay $1000 for the 3 day training. This eliminates those who cannot afford their program, but only if they can't qualify you for credit at a fee of $3000. Once you pay the $1000 (supposedly you get your money back after your first deal- good luck getting that deal!), you wait to go to the 3 day training where you are worn down by lack of sleep, late night homework and reading an inspiring book that motivates you to "Change your life!". You then realize this "training" was not an actual training but there way of convincing you how much you need their actual training and mentoring package of about $30,000 give or take, depending on the package you select. Without this, you are pretty much on your own, out of $1000 and no idea what to do. If you got to this point, you are better off saying goodbye to the $1000. If you pay for the package, they will take you on an extensive and costly ride and by the time you arrive to your destination, it is the opposite of what you expected and were told. Instead of living your dreams, you wake up to a nightmare financially. They will happily take $30,000 from you and once you pay, they will gladly ask you for more money. Our investment required we take a trip to Utah for another "training" and although there was some training, most of the 3 days of training was a ploy to get us all to sign up for more expensive programs they offer. All the training could have been done online but ut is easier to sell a captive audience. Upon returning, the sales calls continue. Just when you thought you paid for mentoring, you are asked to spend another $14,000 for one-on-one training. The sales calls never ends until you keep saying "no" and only after they assure you that you will have no success without their one-on-one. We did not do the one-on-one so all you actually get is a phone line of people telling you what is a "good deal" or not but no one gives you the same information and those "good deals" are not so good. Those who paid for one-on-one did not better than we did. We did everything we were told and at the end ran out of money (by the way, you also need earnest money make deals). They never tell you up front all that is truly involved. Response is full of other sister companies that are just trying to sell you other services such as tax company/ corporation set-up, asset protection, charity set-up... They say they will teach you how to make much more than your "investment" in exclusive real estate deals but the only lesson you actually get is how not to get scammed in the future. I am a skeptic, and I still got con. Beware of Response! Once you realize you were conned, it is too late to reverse the charges on your credit cards. Anything they actually teach you can be learned for free or with a couple of books. They will refuse to refund your money and now they are being investigated by the FTC. I went to a free real estate seminar just out of curiosity. I enjoyed the information they presented and went to the next level which was a three day seminar. The information was very helpful to me. I already owned 3 rentals but you can never have too much knowledge. At the seminar they told us about another program for trading Stocks and Options. I had traded stocks before but always wanted to learn about options trading. I signed up for the Elite training and went through the program. I was very happy with the quality of the program. The program is not for everyone. Wether you are doing the Real Estate training or the Stock and Options, if you don't work at it, it won't work for you. The Response staff will work with you to help you learn which ever course of training you pick. I have made a considerable amount of money since I went to the training. I am sure I will continue to earn for many years to come. If you want to succeed at anything it requires commitment and bit of work combined with a good team to train you. Opportunities are all around us. For me, the training was very much worth the money I paid for it. read more
