We used Freeman Lovell to set up and structure some LLCs and real estate purchases for us. They were helpful and very knowledgeable.

Hmmm so many bad reviews. I'll be completely honest. I did not utilize this firms services. I live…read morein California but I wanted to help my family with a probate issue. I had a lot of basic questions about how to get the ball rolling and I felt that the person I spoke to was very responsive, respectful and helpful. In my experience the best way to see if you will have a good experience here is to go through the reviews and see if people who needed the same legal help as you got great service or not and go from there (for example, divorce help terrible, probate help great - just like you wouldn't go to a breast augmentation expert for your rhinoplasty)

I had no property to divide, no children, no retirement, etc. to split hairs over. David Hunt was my representative, and I retained him for $5,000 up front. My final bill was almost $10,000 and you would think for even a price that large he would file everything accurately? No. My divorce decree, that he prepared, was so vague that my ex was able to take me back to court and capitalize on his inability to serve the person he was representing. I had to hire ANOTHER attorney, to fight the language that HE used in the decree because the other side took advantage of it. This law firm only cares about them getting paid. They do not care about representing their clients. Their claims of understanding UCMJ law were false, I had to educate Mr. Hunt the entire time on the military process. When people are going through serious life events, such as a divorce, where emotions and tensions are high, the expectation is that the attorney you hire maintains the status quo, is an advisor, and can help you navigate the difficult time. Instead, Mr. Hunt was ill-prepared, showed a lack of attention to detail in terms of how his client was being represented, and he not only failed me as a client, but he also created additional unnecessary legal battles and stress for me, that could've been mitigated if he did his job correctly. If you are an active-duty military member or looking at this law firm for assistance with anything military related, I would look elsewhere. Pay attention to the bad reviews and save yourself money.
