Had a few random minor plumbing issues that needed some repair. Called Response Crew and Jennifer handled all scheduling which was next day service efficiently and accurately. Our service tech was, Paul who called in advance to notify me of his arrival time. Paul was professional and sought more insight on several repairs needed. Paul was good at communicating all details and product costs while completing work. As some specialized parts were required Paul quickly sourced the parts and returned to fix the issue. Also another hard to find part was still needed to fix another job and after completing my job Paul said he would look out for this part in the next few days to avoid having to replace entire faucet. This was over and above customer service and I will use Response Crew and hopefully have Paul back to complete any further repair jobs needed. read more

Zero stars if I could choose that. The office staff seems to be incompetent as well as rude. I have been trying to get drywall work done and sent emails with pictures and measurements and never got a response. So I called and was treated rudely. At first I was asked to send emails and I said I had done that but never got a response. I was put on hold multiple times because she said she was trying to read the emails. Hello....I'm ON THE PHONE...talk to me and I can tell you what I need. Then when she came back from having me on hold she hung up on me. Most businesses call back when a call disconnects. Never got a call back. Stay away from this business. Rude, incompetent and overpriced. read more

Run from this business! Here is their typical scenario to save you time ! They respond quickly, they take your credit card info VERY quickly! Thats pretty much their first question. My issue was a very simple fix! To instal a brand new garbage disposal that I already bought. The tech showed up with the "trainee",they installed it, three months later it was leaking right where it was installed . I called again, they told me they will be charging me for the trip. What kind of business is it?!! Their work last three months, then they take your credit card info again to make sure they get paid for their lousy job for the second time! I understand when they charge you first time, but when they are the one who did not do it right in the first place , they have audacity to charge again ! And this whole scenario when they have your credit card on file, is very fishy ! It's called credit card fraud . They did not have my permission to have it on their file in the first place, but somehow they still have it in their file! Oh, and watch it now....here comes the owner response..." I am very sorry for your bad experience...but the reason we did this...blah blah... ", all kinds of excuses to cover up there incompetence and dishonesty. I was really happy to see Dennis show up on time wearing a mask. In these times of Covid we are super cautious and he was amazing about keeping it on the whole time he was on our property. Called them Wednesday for sone front door work on Monday, 5 days out. They had to coordinate with a tenant, which they assured me they would do. Friday afternoon arrives and the tenant has heard nothing. I contact "Response" Crew at 4:30 and nobody was there to answer the phone. I guess they knock off early on Friday's during the busiest time of the year? So they never followed up and knock off early. Maybe change your name to Happy Hour Crue? Motley is taken. You got it right A.D. price gouging the people are not professionals or accredited. Handyman puts up my security door(attached to the house) but did not put on the closer or the storm spring. Also put on 2 new showerheads for me but did not check for leaking, or he did and did not care. I knew nothing about a 2 hr minimum until her was working for 30 minutes, he told me not the office. Alan got here the next day, first thing in the morning. He did a fantastic job cleaning out a vertical dryer vent in our laundry room and repairing a poorly done self-installation of my bathroom sinks. He worked quickly, but he also took the time to share a lot of good advice that will help me avoid making a few mistakes in the future. And, since I wanted to take the time to run the water under the sinks and make sure there were no slow leaks, he offered to come back by the same day and make any repairs if it turned out there were leaks (which there weren't). I utilized the services of this company a couple of months ago based on the 5 star reviews on this site and was hoping I will be one of their happy and satisfied customers. I would have given this review 3 stars at best, but the final response of the owner in our correspondence was not what I was expecting. I'm breaking down this review in a few categories: Punctuality - 3 stars My online inquiry was promptly returned by the owner Adam and work was scheduled right away. On the first day, the contractor (Scott) was supposed to arrive at 9 am and didn't arrive until 20 minutes after. A phone call or text would've been nice, and helpful since apparently he was having a hard time finding my condo. The next couple of visits, the time of his arrival keeps getting pushed to 10, then 10:30 am. With that said, he did stay a couple of hours longer to complete his work which meant I had to ditch my own plans in the evening on those day so that I can be around when he's doing the work since he constantly asks for feedback. Professionalism - 4 stars Scott was courteous and engaging. He included me in any decision-making process during the project. When I asked him to do certain tasks like crown molding and custom cabinets, he declined to do them stating that it's not his skill set but provided me with information to ensure that a more qualified person perform the job. This was a bit confusing for me because...... Workmanship - 2 stars While he did include me in every decision-making in every step, there were many that were made because he didn't do things right the first time like hanging a mirror that's not level (he worked on it for a while and he got frustrated with it and said "Please let that be okay."), applying silicone caulking on areas that need to be painted (I had to remove it later, paint and re-caulk it), applying mosaic tile which weren't straight (he eventually fixed it). Of course those took time to get done. I was willing to overlook many other details. The biggest blunder (and one that had me in a bit of a tizzy) was laying the floor tile which had varying widths in the grout lines and being uneven in many areas which is not evident at first until your feet catch on the edges. I relayed this concern to Adam. Scott offered to come back at a later date on his own time to fix it. He said "Just need to pop up these two tiles and it should be good." That is not the case though, the whole floor needs to be redone to correct those issues. I had reservations having him redo the work since I was expecting him to do it right the first time. After all, he declined to do a couple of things for me he thought he was unqualified to do and bungled a job he's supposed to know how to do. On a positive note, he did an excellent job with the dry wall. When I followed up with Adam with regards to the work done, I didn't expect him to kinda just brush it off and invoke that they're just a handyman company (not a high end renovation company) and you get what you pay for. I thought it was reasonable to expect that the contractor would be at least average at best and that laying tile is not considered "high end". It is for this reason I had to dock another from this review. Heck, an apology would've sufficed but no, it's buyer beware. I would not recommend this company to my family or friends. read more

We had Ivan and Francisco come out to our new home to do a plethora of projects for us. They installed 47 new cabinet pulls, 3 fans, and 2 curtain rods, and also mounted our 75 inch tv, and all of it was done perfectly and efficiently. Will from Response Crew was on time and very pleasant. Diagnosed my front door that sticks and fixed it quickly. Then moved on to replace my microwave and first said he would try to repair it before replacing it. While that didn't pan out (he said it works 8/10 times and I was one of the 2) I still appreciated that he tried to save me the cost of a new microwave. Installation went off without a hitch and he tackled one more small job since it was all within the 2-hour minimum. I always feel my money is well spent with Response Crew. Thought I'd add to this company's already stellar rating on Yelp. I had an amazing experience working with the whole team. The receptionist that took my call was very informative, set good expectations (including letting me know they were booked out until the following week, but would let me know if something opened up before then). Once the appointment was scheduled, I got a follow up call the day before service reminding me about the time range. The techs called an hour ahead of time on the day of and gave me a heads up that they were on their way. When they arrived they were both super friendly and got straight to work fixing my front door that has given us issues for 2 years. Within 45 minutes they were finished and the door works perfectly. I highly recommend this company. Very well managed and processes are flawless. Very little friction for the end user (me).
