Food (if anyone knows hosp/nursing home food) was amazing. I noticed the other long term floors having activities that looked great. They have prayer and service every day for ppl that want to attend(plus plays on inter om briefly fo ppl who may be bedbound or in therapy) but it's not overly pushed if you are not catholic. Grounds are gorgeous here. Therapy dept was great. The case manager with the SW went above AND beyond to facilitate moms stays with insurance so she was safe to come home!! They worked tirelessly at a hard job and we're so unbelievabllllly grateful!! I cant think of a bad thing to say here. From nurses, therapy to housekeeping we would come back if needed and it's never an easy decision where to bring family!

We researched and contacted several nursing homes in the area, and although A Friendly Home was not the closest to us, we fell in love with it after talking to Stephanie and meeting the staff which made us realize that this would be a place that actually cared about our aunt's mental and physical health and would help her thrive to her potential. They even cater to her vegetarian diet as a bonus. It has only been a few days and already we feel like it is "home" for her. The staff is attentive and caring and has great longevity of service. I feel comforted to know that my aunt is "home" in a safe and loving environment.

Receptionist pleasant and efficient at appointment. our problem was the assistant who took us in prior to seeing Dr. She proceeded to basically lecture us because we did not have a referral from an optometrist. I suggested we leave and she calmed down a bit. Saying that was the problem with the general scheduling Department. That was not our problem and as patients she should not have treated us that way. Doctor was fine when we saw him. Unfortunately this is the second time I've had a problem there and probably will not return. I think they are too big and have lost the personal touch.
